I don't like the term Ufology. It suggests there is more there in some all-encompassing subject. Really the mystery of UFOs ("ET-craft") is just the missing of a handful of succinct facts. This ought to have been fully understood a long time ago. Anyone for a downed UFO? There are other forms of UFOs such as natural phenomena. Can't see Alien-Hunters investigating those.

Richard I'm afraid that in 5 to 10 years this will be a dead subject. There just doesn't seem to be any young people with the sincere dedication and fire to keep it alive. By now there should be a hand full of people on the horizon that people are beginning to recognize. I don't believe their there. Serious abduction research is nearly dead already. Of course I hope I'm wrong and welcome rebuttal.

@mistermassive1 I've seen ufos myself a morphing shape that flashes green yellow red in sequence and flies off at high speed. Nick was there too. I've even seen other videos of this same thing on youtube. what was it? It is in Somerset end of 09
@mistermassive1 Don't you think there is a) A general effort to disrupt genuine UFO sightings and verifiable hi tech aircraft by the government to make you think what's real is not and vice versa and b) The odd family with the saucepan lid on the string wanting a few views on their channel?
Egotism and the subconscious drive for individual power-bases has been the ruin of many good causes and organisations, so MUFON is no exception there.
