I loved seeing the FFA song in here. I liked your Choice for Megaman, rather than everybody's immediate MM2 Wily Stage 1 reaction. The Main Final Fantasy theme was a FANTASTIC choice to have as the number one, being perhaps one of the greatest pieces ever composed for a video game.

@19Szabolcs91 It's one of the best 8-bit computers. Graphics are somewhat comparable to the NES, but the sound is absolutely amazing. People are using C64 computers to make techno music. Just look up C64 music by Rob Hubbard, and you'll be amazed at how good it is.

@TeamRocketReviews, You're not wrong: The megadrive version of Golden Axe's wilderness theme (16 bit) compared to Jereon Tel's original C64 version - C64 version is vastly superior. Same with Chris Huelsbeck's C64 rendition of R-Type, it is far better than even the Arcade version!

Also, why isn't Robocop (Gameboy/C64) on the list?!

This list puts a song from Mega Man 3 (Game Boy) on it, ignoring the fact that almost every track from Mega Man 2 is superior (especially Dr Wily level 1 theme). You can't make a list of the best 8-bit songs (especially on a list so Nintendo focused) and leave out Mega Man 2.

As for the Mega Man thing, I personally like that song a lot, yes, more than the ones in MM2.
