hello fellow scottish people. This is pretty disturbing but have you seen the video on youtube: The Hollie Greig Scandal by Robert Green. This is a huge cover up in scotland and if you are scottish you owe it to your heritage to watch it. even if you arent scottish you should still watch it. thumbs up this comment so that other people can see it as well.

ive been volunteering in uganda for a couple months...i started a blog that includes tons of pics and discusses the various obstacles and challenges that i see in this country. i also include a healthy dose of humour. google "bedroom-culture tumblr blog" and it should pop up.....im always appreciative of feedback! i also include tons of music and movie interests

I had no sympathy for that boy. You don't just go over to another country and become somebody's doctor without looking at their history and it wasn't like he was forced at first; he could of easily made up some excuse about the intentions of his travel- and especially not sleeping with other peoples wife's such as the presidents.

@Dolphidood Doctor's are made to swear a hypocratic oath whereby they are meant to help any patient in need of medical attention - despite that patient's background. In addition to this, the Scottish boy didn't actually know the Ugandan president was a homosidial maniac - and neither did the rest of the world for a while, because Amin seemed so idyllic in terms of publicity. That's the whole point of the film...

@SiouxsieTheCure darrghh actually there are many points of view about the point of the film and the most view points a film covers the better that film seems to be as it meets more audience. Yes but this patient wasn't always in need of medical attention otherwise he may as well have stayed at home and looked after his dad waiting for something to happen. People with half a brain don't just liaise with people that have a lot power. If all else fails you gotta admit the cheating was pretty stupid

i watched idi amins documentaries and there is no way he spoke full of energy and inspiration as shown in the move. Whittaker looks nothing like Amin only from the stomache as a fatman pehaps.

You are also correct about Scottish Labour being partly to blame over Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm just concerned that there's still a risk of us doing the same thing under a different party because we don't fully appreciate the level of autonomy that we have, or could have under a Federation.

You are correct there, sir. Politically and ethnically, Scotland is still divided. It's not just about Britain and Independence, it's about Catholicism and Protestantism, about Irish and Scots (and more of course). For example, because one football team has its foundations among the Irish immigrants, the opposing team feels right to secure their position as true Scots and Britons, not Irish foreigners. That is why the same people that wave the British flag do the orange walk.

It depends on who you are. I can count four unnecessary wars that Scotland has been dragged into; Falklands War, Iraq War, War in Afghanistan and now the war in Libya. If we were independent, or if we were an actual federation, we Scots would never have entered. We can do what we want now, but for as long as we are "British" then we are less likely to stop and think about the things we do collectively, and the fact that they are collective, and how we have a choice not to.
