1) REGIONAL accredidation is far more significant thant national. If it has no regional accredidation, stay away.
2) No academic standards for admission. When a school enrolls any slacker who flunked out of high school, who can barely put a comprehensable sentence together, who can barely handle 3rd grade arithmetic, a degree from that institution is not worth the paper its printed on.
@kkellybass I will agree that regional would be better. But looking at projects that full sail students have worked on .. counteracts your worthless portion of the statement.
@TheAsg2009 Yea I think I will, the FAFSA and all the other paper work is really frustrating, I just finished the last of it, Do you know when they send the equipment you will need?
can u pay this online program wihtouth a job? I wanna be able to focus on my education %100 without having to switch from work and shit. how much its costing u a semester ?
@aserv948 You can get financial aid, and other student loans, so you would not have to pay anything back until 6 months after you graduate and that would only be paying back some of it, and it would be in payments, not all at once.
whats up man. my bad, im talkin about folks on here that are askin bout jobs in this music world we live in. and hands on. just a little convo. good 4 you. go 4 your dreams.
im in full sail online, and all you gota do playboy, is figure that shit out on your own. do your home work n thangs. but dam!! with the shit they give you out the box at home. push that shit. as far as jobs, come on now. net fuckin work!! plug your shit. i went from fl to logic, to no emails. to hungru mc emails to but up beats. just get your shit right.
As for finding a job in the industry .. I was able to find one in my industry by simply asking. There are still great people in this world. Most of the negative stuff you hear of this school is from people who have failed or given no effort in helping their selves.
@TheAsg2009 lol your industry? what industry is that? and I havent heard any negative things about this program nor have i heard positive. I jus want to be %100 sure that I will be working in the field of my dreams after I take these courses. Do u produce or make beats. send me a link
@TheAsg2009 OK, so if you can get a job in the industry by simply asking, what then is the point of paying tens of thousands of dollars to attend a questionable 'school' based on that industry?
A degree from Full Sale will get you a good job at Wal Mart, McDonalds, or Starbucks...but first this guy needs to shave, otherwise he wont even get a gig at WalMart!
@kkellybass A job in my industry allows whatever look I want .. regardless of if you can score a job in the industry .. you're paying to learn. There are certain ways to do things that a common tutorial can't teach you. Sure we can watch a video ... but what good is it without being able to work with the industry standard. All programs included are industry standard. Pretty beast to me. And I have a job. Thank you very much. haha. Who wants to work at wally world? Not a bad gig .. easy money
@kkellybass You obviously know NOTHING about Full Sail. Do some online research. Only the BEST people in the industry recruit from there. Stop hating. Get a career of your own. Maybe at the same places you mentioned? Wal Mart, McD's, etc? You dare to hate on people who are making something of their lives? You are a piece of shit dude.
@Michael55443 I do educational outreach, so its my job to steer potential students towards legitimate educational insitutions, not commissioned sales scams masquerading as colleges. Here are three ways to determine if a school is legit:
1) If the admisisons advisors/recruitors work on commission, RUN AWAY as fast as you can.
2) if state-run universities or community colleges will accept credits from your proprietery school.
3) if related businesses routinely hire grads of such schools
@aserv948 I am still doing school. I am learning MP. and as for them helping with a job .. not sure yet. But if you put forth any valid effort .. it is rather easy for you to score a good job. Just gotta ask around.
@aserv948 I have learned a shit ton of stuff. Hands on with an instructor .. there giving you the basics of what to do. You want hands on do recording arts. or even get an internship. A music producer is different then a recording engineer. iChat get's the ''hands on'' done. So does ''WIMBA''.
Is it hard studying music production online at full sail?
BREADSTACKERZENT 6 months ago
I start Music Production hopefully on June 27th (waiting for financial aid to be processed) Awesome vids. Maybe we can collaborate in the future.
