Man these themes were the best. I rather these themes, like the Juventud, Malenko, Jericho, etc themes than all the rock songs the wrestlers have today for entrance music..
@sgauden02 That would be awesome, but I don't know if I want to see Raven in THIS WWE. I'm afraid they would try to.... clean him up. Wouldn't let Raven be Raven.
@VickiLeeMurray I don't know, if they can let The Undertaker be The Undertaker, then Raven shouldn't be too much of a problem. Would a PG Raven work? Maybe.
@sgauden02 atleast it was better than wwe and atleast wwf & tna are better too & I cant stand WWE to me its a discrase to what hardcore wrestling is...wwe is bitched whiped...& i dont mean this about the good wrestlers that are still in wwe] like the undertaker rey mysterio kane triple h and all the other old wrestlers...besides the new ones and they suck
@XxNINJh20AxX That's YOUR opinion. Personally, I think there is NOTHING wrong with WWE being PG. Do you REALLY have to be bleeding and swearing to have a good match? To tell you the truth, there is much more WRESTLING today than there was in the Attitude Era.
@XxNINJh20AxX I grew up with the Attitude Era to. But unfortunetly, the Monday Night Wars are over. Competing with WCW is the main reason WWE resorted to a lot of those things like Stone Cold's beer truck. WCW pretty much blew it.
@sgauden02 yea but KN goted to wrestle at NOC but he goted health problems cause he's age .. i don't sayd anything bad about Raven, he is one of my old favs from WCW but he's to old now .. (my bad for the age)
@alexangel3030 Nash did wrestle though at TLC, and took some good bumbs. And Raven is in better shape than Nash. I think it's very possible for Raven to wrestle Punk. Much more than Kevin Nash was anyway. I'm not saying it WILL happen, it'd just be cool if it did. But I still think Raven is in okay shape.
@sgauden02 mm maybe you're right, i would like to see Raven in the ring against Punk i'm afraid only that WWE is going to turn him in a shit like he did in 2002 when he started Jobbing Him
@alexangel3030 They didn't completely job him. He won the Hardcore title like more than 30 times. But yeah, WWE needs to use Raven right if he ever returns to WWE.
I remember when Raven broke Perry Saturn's fingers, I thought that was gonna be the Push That Saturn needed to make him a top contender for a World Championship, Saturn was so freaking boss, but sadly that never came to fruitation WCW Management pissed off at them man, and I was mad as hell over how underused and foolish WWE Made him what about him what about Saturn?
love his feud with DDP in 1998 (WCW) *what about me!!? what about raven!!!!?? what about me paige!!!!?* lol u almost sensed is was somewhat real....WCW always had good talent...WWF had good talent until 2002 when the WWE era started...then all shot to hell....but TNA is staying true to the wrestling roots...i love the kurt angle/beer money feud
ANOTHER NIRVANA TRACK THAT WCW's Theme Producer reversed the key notes Raven Probably Wanted the actual Nirvana version bu Because of COPYRIGHT LAWS HE COULDN'T Use The Notes from The actual Nirvana version Just Like d d p's smell like teen spirit reversal in his wcw theme song
Raven was a genius. He was just one of those people in wrestling that whenever he had a mic in his hand you listened. You listened because he was intelligent, well spoken, and he believed in his Raven character. He made (or at least tried) to make fans believe in his Raven character. He was one of my favs for sure and it really sucked how they used him in WCW and then the WWE
@BRXBOMBER88 lol bro, watch TNA and ROH (and any indies from 2003-2004)... type in CM Punk and Raven, just go look... Raven mentored CM Punk believe it or not
Out of all the remixes of existing made for wrestlers, this is my absolute favorite, mainly because as a instrumental piece it actually manages to be better than it's predecessor and it matches Raven so fucking well.
@TrueAbsolution The only thing they show of Raven and his Flock is a match were DDP wins and then he goes out in the crowd right where Raven and his Flock are sitting....Its stupid that they showed no Raven or Flock matches, I agree with you
@TrueAbsolution That is truly sad because Raven's flock was one of the many, many things WCW had. Lucha Lebre, Raven's flock, general midcarders, NWO, WCW stars, even the jobbers. Not including the flock is a darn shame and a disgrace since I always enjoyed watching them.
@WillOwnForFood wwe used to be like that too, for example Razor Ramon's theme sounded a lot like These Shoes n(i think thats the name of the song?) by the Eagles
You're telling me you actually enjoyed the 7,000 nWo versions, stagnant main event scene and boring storylines associated with them? Everybody knows that WCW's saving grace was the midcard.
@UnbridledAtNightfall I never said anything like that, but what you're saying is either: WCW's ENTIRE midcard consisted of nothing but The Flock, that everybody other than the midcard was trash, or the only time WCW mattered or existed was around the time of the nWo.
Which one is it? Doesn't really matter because they're all untrue.
Where did I mention this exact sentence, "Raven's Flock was the entire midcard?" Now who is putting words in people's mouths? Everybody has their reasons for watching, however I have always found the Flock to be most interesting and maybe a little ahead of their time (no doubt Raven was much more of a complex character to a typical fan).
Secondly, preach what you must but the nWo *was* when WCW mattered. They milked it too much, and they never rebounded from that storyline.
@UnbridledAtNightfall You said that the Flock was the only reason for watching WCW. When I disagreed, you said WCW's only saving grace was the midcard. You took the fact that I called you on your exaggeration to mean I didn't agree with the point you all but stated.
And Raven was one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, so don't you dare preach about him to me.
What I'm saying is, nWo wasn't the ONLY time WCW mattered, it was just it's peak, and we all know downhill was on the other side.
The Flock was strictly a midcard stable, and most people remember WCW for the entertaining midcard matches in terms of wrestling. There were other people I enjoyed watching in WCW, but the Flock to me were the only interesting characters on the entire show. Why? Because they were different. Everybody was either nWo or a generic WCW good guy.
So in a promotion where everything was black and white (literally), is it very wrong to state that something gray was more interesting?
I get it: Flock=good, nWo=bad. I've never argued with your point, even though you seem to think I am.
You originally said "The only reason to watch WCW was for Raven's Flock," and that's simply not true. I watched WCW for multiple reasons, the Flock included. Had you, let's say, replaced the "The" with "My", then I wouldn't be able to argue that.
Hold on; you're the guy that could not possibly get an opinion out of this, "The Flock was the only reason to watch WCW?" Please tell me this is trolling?
Since we want to get pedantic, allow me to point out your line here; "The nWo wasn't the only time when WCW mattered." Oh? I wonder what other glorious storylines WCW had once nWo ran its course?
Saturn in a dress? Steiner vs. Chucky? Hogan/Russo politics? Which one?
@UnbridledAtNightfall It's obviously opinion because that couldn't possibly be fact. But, all I was ever saying was that there were more reasons to watch WCW than just the Flock. I've spent the rest of this "conversation" denying you telling me that I said the nWo was the shit, when you're the one who mentioned nWo in the first place.
And since you put more words in my mouth, let me state that I actually meant BEFORE nWo, but after still counts as "WCW". I also used the word "peak".
Sure, let us hear those reasons why I would want to watch WCW for something other than the Flock. Pretend I'm a viewer you are trying to draw in, if you will. Right now I am exclusively turning it on and turning it off once the Flock/Raven does their thing. Change my mind.
Before nWo? My friend, nWo *was* the ace in the hole WCW needed to give it an edge over WWF. Whoops, I forgot the genius that was the Dungeon of Doom. nWo made WCW matter. They could not move past it.
@UnbridledAtNightfall No. You seem hellbent on believing that I said anything at all about the nWo to start this, so why would I try to waste my time trying to convince you of anything?
And yet again, you're not listening. No shit. Are you fuzzy on what "peak" means?
Look, I'm getting sick of talking to you. You're trying to patronize me like you know so damn much more than me, when we've been saying almost the same fucking thing to each other.
My, my, such a temper! Now who needs to "calm down?" =p
No, no, I do not believe I know "so damn much more" than you. This is why I'm inviting you to name me other memorable and great storylines from that timeframe since as you know I was only watching it in limited amounts because 95% of storylines linked to nWo in the end and even at age 8 I thought it was stale/boring. Surely you can really open my eyes?
@UnbridledAtNightfall I'm not angry, just annoyed that this is going pretty much nowhere.
Fine, you want an example? The cruiserweight division. Pretty much all of it. I remain a pretty big Chris Jericho fan to this day, btw.
How's that? I know midcard has been mentioned, but it's been stated that the Flock wasn't all of it, and if I recall correctly Jericho was never a part of the nWo.
Exactly my point. Jericho/Cruiserweights and DDP/Raven during 1998, during WCW's peak. Can you blame anybody if they did think a particular group or storyline was "the best?" Obviously it is an opinion, but you didn't have much of a selection to choose from. People just tired quicker of the main-event scene as opposed to the actual talent in the midcards. If the Flock was in WWF at that time? Much tougher call.
It baffles me as to how you get "the main event was the best" or "the Flock was crap" or whatever crap you're making up out of me saying "there are other reasons to watch".
That's all I said. That's ALL I EVER SAID. But, no, you seemed convinced that I said anything about the nWo or, in any way, opposed you liking the Flock. THAT'S why this is stupid: because we're in two different arguments because you can't read what I actually wrote.
To quickly add, I'll let you be now regardless if you reply or not since you are correct in that this whole discussion is pretty silly since you're arguing against an opinion. So go and have your power-filling last word and take a shower.
Funny how this has been going on for a week, and you've yet to grasp the point of anything I've said.
And what you probably realize is that you "letting me be" after that comment is just your own lame ass way of "having the last word". Nice copout, junior.
I somehow doubt this is the last I hear from you, anyway.
raven was the shit, he would walked down to the ring in street clothes and sit in the corner like he was depressed and fuck jeff hardy tna is killing him.
Raven, one of the most underrated wrestlers, one of the many that has been kept to a low profile based on higher power hungry minds. His gimmick was original, fresh, and very different. He appealed to an audience that no one else in wrestling could and can ever reach.
Not my favorite wrestling personality ever, but definitely in the top 10.
@cbrhawk1 Raven isn't just some southern redneck who likes beating people up. He graduated second in his class at Hartford. He invented a match concept. The house of fun is considered the most dangerous match in wrestling history, just because of the fact that the cage around it is made of chain and barbed wire. Raven is a genius in a warriors body.
Same theme in Tna wrestling just a little modified three men bullt tna RAVEN AJ STYLES AND JEFF JARRETT what hulk hogan did to raven and jeff jarrett in tna i will never forgive fuck that old cunt, he wont even step into the ring yet sting is still kicking ass, what a difference a decade makes HOGAN SUCKS, RAVEN RULES.
@2canvandam Raven is awesome so is sting, Raven will put over young talent thats something he has always done he put Styles over repeatedly back in the Asylum days back when Jarrett, was to egotistical to lose his precious title.
@2canvandam Raven is awesome so is sting, Raven will put over young talent thats something he has always done he put Styles over repeatedly back in the Asylum days back when Jarrett, was to egotistical to lose his precious title. Besides he wouldn't have to wrestle often he could replace taz he is one of the , greatest on the Mic.
@hambone9119 Hogan is too old and broke down to wrestle. Thank God he wont step in the ring. Sting is getting there too.. And if u watched Ravens last match vs Hardy it is clear it was a good time for him to retire from TV.
@Swizzy i know it was a good time for him to retire but A send off would of been sweet, About a A Tna the Story of Raven Dvd that would be a awesome send off.
@hambone9119 Yeah I agree. It would be like Raven tho, as his final stand, to put over a guy they were trying to push as the biggest star in their company.
Raven has always been one of my favorites, I was happy when he finally made it back to the WWE after WCW died (Thankfully not as Johnny Polo this time), but was sad immediately following that because I knew Vince would never put him over. :(
@stultiloquy Another thing, I remember seeing Raven at a WWE house show in 2001, and he used this music to come to the ring instead of the newer music WWE gave him.
I marked out like crazy because I wasn't expecting it at all, unfortunately I think I was the only Raven fan in attendance, lol.
David Arquette sees the WCW strap but Raven doesn't? I call bullshit. I would've loved it if NWO passed the torch to Raven's Flock as the next big taking over group.
@Kiefty maybe but lets face it Jeff Hardy more of an attraction then Raven Hardy better looking guy high flying got high sex appeal too with it so difficult for raven

Saturn in a dress? Steiner vs. Chucky? Hogan/Russo politics? Which one?
UnbridledAtNightfall 9 months ago
@UnbridledAtNightfall It's obviously opinion because that couldn't possibly be fact. But, all I was ever saying was that there were more reasons to watch WCW than just the Flock. I've spent the rest of this "conversation" denying you telling me that I said the nWo was the shit, when you're the one who mentioned nWo in the first place.
And since you put more words in my mouth, let me state that I actually meant BEFORE nWo, but after still counts as "WCW". I also used the word "peak".
blazegamer 9 months ago
@blazegamer
UnbridledAtNightfall 9 months ago
@UnbridledAtNightfall No. You seem hellbent on believing that I said anything at all about the nWo to start this, so why would I try to waste my time trying to convince you of anything?
And yet again, you're not listening. No shit. Are you fuzzy on what "peak" means?
Look, I'm getting sick of talking to you. You're trying to patronize me like you know so damn much more than me, when we've been saying almost the same fucking thing to each other.
blazegamer 8 months ago
@blazegamer
UnbridledAtNightfall 8 months ago
@UnbridledAtNightfall I'm not angry, just annoyed that this is going pretty much nowhere.
Fine, you want an example? The cruiserweight division. Pretty much all of it. I remain a pretty big Chris Jericho fan to this day, btw.
How's that? I know midcard has been mentioned, but it's been stated that the Flock wasn't all of it, and if I recall correctly Jericho was never a part of the nWo.
Now, you can leave me alone.
blazegamer 8 months ago
@blazegamer
Don't get so pouty. Relax.
UnbridledAtNightfall 8 months ago
@UnbridledAtNightfall Are you stupid or just stubborn?
It baffles me as to how you get "the main event was the best" or "the Flock was crap" or whatever crap you're making up out of me saying "there are other reasons to watch".
That's all I said. That's ALL I EVER SAID. But, no, you seemed convinced that I said anything about the nWo or, in any way, opposed you liking the Flock. THAT'S why this is stupid: because we're in two different arguments because you can't read what I actually wrote.
blazegamer 8 months ago
@blazegamer
To quickly add, I'll let you be now regardless if you reply or not since you are correct in that this whole discussion is pretty silly since you're arguing against an opinion. So go and have your power-filling last word and take a shower.
UnbridledAtNightfall 8 months ago
@UnbridledAtNightfall Patronizing to the end, huh? What a dick.
Funny how this has been going on for a week, and you've yet to grasp the point of anything I've said.
And what you probably realize is that you "letting me be" after that comment is just your own lame ass way of "having the last word". Nice copout, junior.
I somehow doubt this is the last I hear from you, anyway.

What About ME? What About RAVEN?
MrMobsterking 11 months ago 4
Raven, one of the most underrated wrestlers, one of the many that has been kept to a low profile based on higher power hungry minds. His gimmick was original, fresh, and very different. He appealed to an audience that no one else in wrestling could and can ever reach.
Not my favorite wrestling personality ever, but definitely in the top 10.
cbrhawk1 11 months ago 80
@cbrhawk1 Raven isn't just some southern redneck who likes beating people up. He graduated second in his class at Hartford. He invented a match concept. The house of fun is considered the most dangerous match in wrestling history, just because of the fact that the cage around it is made of chain and barbed wire. Raven is a genius in a warriors body.
FireFightWrestling 6 months ago
Correct me if i'm wrong, but, raven is the only guy in wrestling 2 have an action figure in ecw, wcw, wwe and tna.
mikekluft 11 months ago 6
Same theme in Tna wrestling just a little modified three men bullt tna RAVEN AJ STYLES AND JEFF JARRETT what hulk hogan did to raven and jeff jarrett in tna i will never forgive fuck that old cunt, he wont even step into the ring yet sting is still kicking ass, what a difference a decade makes HOGAN SUCKS, RAVEN RULES.
hambone9119 11 months ago
@hambone9119 why would you want his old washed up in the ring?????
2canvandam 11 months ago
@2canvandam Raven is awesome so is sting, Raven will put over young talent thats something he has always done he put Styles over repeatedly back in the Asylum days back when Jarrett, was to egotistical to lose his precious title.

@2canvandam Raven is awesome so is sting, Raven will put over young talent thats something he has always done he put Styles over repeatedly back in the Asylum days back when Jarrett, was to egotistical to lose his precious title. Besides he wouldn't have to wrestle often he could replace taz he is one of the , greatest on the Mic.

@hambone9119 I was talkings about Hogan not raven!. Raven is a hero
2canvandam 11 months ago
@2canvandam god Noi meant i dont want to see Hogan Flair or the hardys in tna they suck they make it sucki has not been awesome since december 2009.
hambone9119 11 months ago
@hambone9119 Hogan is too old and broke down to wrestle. Thank God he wont step in the ring. Sting is getting there too.. And if u watched Ravens last match vs Hardy it is clear it was a good time for him to retire from TV.
Swizzy 11 months ago
@Swizzy i know it was a good time for him to retire but A send off would of been sweet, About a A Tna the Story of Raven Dvd that would be a awesome send off.
hambone9119 11 months ago
@hambone9119 Yeah I agree. It would be like Raven tho, as his final stand, to put over a guy they were trying to push as the biggest star in their company.

@BrickCity4eva well CM Punk did work with Raven back in 2002 and 2003....and he is one of Punk's idol's
BTLgmoney 1 year ago
@BTLgmoney and Punk has pretty much adopted Raven's gimmick to some degree in WWE, doin the things he did with SES and now New Nexus.
and I know they worked together with Dinero and Mickie James to form the Gathering.

Raven has always been one of my favorites, I was happy when he finally made it back to the WWE after WCW died (Thankfully not as Johnny Polo this time), but was sad immediately following that because I knew Vince would never put him over. :(
stultiloquy 1 year ago 3
@stultiloquy Another thing, I remember seeing Raven at a WWE house show in 2001, and he used this music to come to the ring instead of the newer music WWE gave him.
I marked out like crazy because I wasn't expecting it at all, unfortunately I think I was the only Raven fan in attendance, lol.
stultiloquy 1 year ago
David Arquette sees the WCW strap but Raven doesn't? I call bullshit. I would've loved it if NWO passed the torch to Raven's Flock as the next big taking over group.
