  • someone has to use this in the ufc as an enterance lol

  • CJ has a nice voice for a rock hardcore style...but this and others are "badasses"songs, and these songs are totally dee dee´s voice...listen to the punishment fits the crime ,people

  • punk/rap :P

  • @TheMetalheadfromhell pure punk with specific vocals.

  • i like it dee dee could have done anything and gotten away with it

  • DeeDee is the King of Bass, but no he also had to be the King of Rap >.>

  • @xDeadMisfitsx king of bass?

  • @smoke420allthetime hes a fucking bassist...

  • The End of The Century: vale D.D., Lapis In Exultum Est.

  • There ain't no "exciting" whatsoever of the Dee Dee King album; Standing in the Spotlight. It is utter crap. Don't get me wrong, I love the album (probably because I'm stupid), and I have it on both cd and vinyl, but it is still crap. There is only one good song, and by some means it is also one of the best Ramones songs ever recorded; The Crusher. Somehow Dee Dee did something right in his rap career. Dee Dee, R.I.P! We love you, man!

  • he's the crusher

  • @matteomarazzi King of the Ring

  • de de es el alma punk de los ramones

  • @damianpaya el vivio la vida de un veradero punk!!! pero todos los ramones eran punk aunque no lo supieron de imediato!! que aguanten los ramones!!!

    GREAT

  • I might have a foreign object in my trunks!

  • i am confused is this the original or not, cuz i have just heard a different version. Mybe it sais in description, but it is realy hard to understand.

  • @andyfreeforall Dee Dee wrote the song for The Ramones after he left, I'm not sure whether The Ramones changed it or if Dee Dee only gave them the short version, but this is probably what Dee Dee had in mind when he wrote it.

I really like it this way, it's very dee dee.

  • @andyfreeforall Yes this is the original version.. released in 1989, Ramones version was released in 1995

  • If I was an MMA fighter, this would definitely be my entrance song

  • @newfound32 Look at the lyrics again...

  • doug e. fresh!!!

  • nice version

dee dee ramone it knows to do punk and punk!!

  • sounds so modern for an old musician

  • The main reef of this song is really cool

  • GENIAL DEE DEE. WELL I GOTTA GO NOW!

  • This song's okay, but I the Ramones should have done "Poor Little Rich Girl" instead of this one. Just my opinion.

  • Im the CruSsSsSsher

  • no no noooo

    Take it ciii jaaaaayyy!!!! ¬¬

  • the live version is just as good if you ask me, way faster and more powerfull and strong like king kong.

  • this song is freaking amazing!

  • The deedee ramone rap album was a kind of joke, but this song is huge, so huge the ramones even covered it.....

  • Not covered Dee Dee gave it to them because it was their last album so he got involve pluus this is more punk then rap

  • you are shit.... that's all

  • fuck u

  • ♫ The Crusher ♫

  • In a weird way I kinda like this...

Maybe just cause I'm a HUGE Dee Dee Ramone fan =]

  • It's a shame that we'll never be graced with such hip hop genius ever again.

    (Dear gawd, make it stop.)

  • Adios amigo.

  • Dee Dee and Joey where the Ramones, C.J. is no substitution.

  • *were

  • you forgot Johnny Ramone and anyone the Ramones let in the band were Ramones C.J was kool

  • Just sayin' dude, they were the core, heart, and soul of the Ramones. But yeah, C.J.'s cool but like I said, he's no substitution for Dee Dee.

  • Obviously they started the band and Joey and Dee Dee wrote the songs he was'nt a substitute he was a new member he was alot different then Dee Dee

  • *wrote

  • are you mad

    this is better

  • hammergeil dieser song einer meiner favouriten von dee dee s songs

  • Douglas glen colvin fue es y seguirá siendo mi mayor ídolo por q es el myir exponent de la musica y en un mundo donde nada importa los RAMONeS lo hacen

  • Damn. this is just raw! CRUSHAAAAAH!!!

  • Well, first i tought this is a corver of THE CRAMPS- The Crusher... By the way, R.I.P. Mr. Ramone & Mr. Interior

  • well anyway the cramps didn't do it originally, novas did.

  • DEE DEE RULES!

  • funny song,is this the oribinal?

  • it's the Aboriginal. lol.

  • you are right Hdpyou about the look, the mind of dee dee and his performances but it happened since subterranean jungle because he looked ok in end of the century & pleasant dreams

  • CJ is Dee Dee's child

  • lol dee dee wut a legend rip man rip

  • Even though most people only know the version with CJ singing, keep in mind Dee Dee wrote most of the songs CJ sang even after he left the band. He even personally delivered them to CJ and practiced with him.

  • DEE DEE KING!!!!!

  • Dee Dee was the Ramone's punk. Without him, piss on'em!

  • shut the fuck up, DeeDee would've been noone without Ramones, and Ramones would've been nothing without him. fuck you man, for saying such shit!

  • this track ain't half bad.

  • It's like the Fresh Prince theme; instead of Will Smith now it's Dee Dee King who sings!!! The best song he wrote is Rockaway Beach but he lost his mind after doing End of the Century. ¿Manic-depresion + drugs?¿Too much too soon? ¿ Problems inside the band ? I don't know but he changed his look and stayed so quite in the performances...

Anyway Dee Dee was a great song writer, the most important Ramones' songs creator. He was a genius who will never been forgotten.

  • the BEST song from DD are "Now I wanna be sedated" ...sooooo GOOOOD!!

    //PETTER .SWE

  • though dee dee doesnt have the greatest voice of the ramones, its perfect for the song. i love the ramones, but to be honest, but dee dee is the most skilled.

  • deedee is king

  • @ignoranceisbliss4u not at alll...

  • Yes, I agree. Dee Dee is king. There is nothing more certain.

  • if you think cj is better than dee dee check out wart hogs, wart hog

    and then kill yourself

these punk ass kids would buy anything

  • any1 noe were i can get this song

not the ramone verison the dee dee virson

  • try putting dee dee king into soul seek thats how i got it

  • wtf is soul seek ?

    lol

  • hahaha its a music downloading program and its free and safe

to get it just go to yahoo or google and type in soul seek and youll find the free download

  • they were both good but dee dees voice was awesome,it WAS punk, and he was just more of a ramone.DEE DEE

  • I like DeeDee's voice alot more then CJ's.

To me it's the sound of pure punk...

  • wow the lyrics sound different

  • they are

  • I liked dee dee and cj in my opinion they are both awesome

  • whats with al the comments about cj being better then dee dee?? dee dee IS the better one

  • I may say that for Dee Dee Ramone, but not his little "Dee Dee King" thing here

  • I just thought he was a terrible singer.

Like. He fit the early stuff yeah...

But like....when they got like...ritchey and Dee Dee started singing his own songs, I just thought his voice was blahh..

CJ is just such a good singer and even Monte said in the End of the Century" DVD, He was like a breath of fresh air.

I don't hate Dee Dee, I just think CJ was a better singer.

  • i agree cj's voice kinda sounded likeit hadn't fully broken yet

  • Idk, it's just what I've thought.

Plus I love some of the songs he sang in their later days.

    They weren't "Ramones"

But they were still pretty good if you ask me..

  • ok CJ is shit

dee dee smokes CJ back to his diappers

    RIP dee dee

  • CJ is great! Yeah! I like him more singing 'The Crusher' than Dee Dee. Of course, I do not mean the ability to write songs, no. But his voice makes me really crazy =) And 'Strength to Endure' is my favourite song from the Ramones. There is a lot of energy in CJ-voiced songs.

  • die

  • Of course you can think that way. It is your opinion!

I love songs 'Wart Hog', 'You Can't Say Anything Nice' and 'Time Bomb'. But I also love 'Crusher' and 'Cretin Family'.

Joey had unique voice. Well, you know, people can have voice but he really had The Voice. Dee Dee's singing was like chainsaw or pop eye-screaming. And that was... Cool, opposite to Joey's beatiful harmonics.

Can you even think Joey singing Wart Hog?

  • I actually like this version better than 'Mones version.

  • Dee Dee wrote basically all the good Ramones songs.

  • Pretty true. In every album 'since most of the songs are written by Dee Dee. Just take a look at the Too Tough To Die song credits!

  • ramones are 15.678 better

  • wow dee dee sucks at singing XD

i love the guy but CJ really improved it...

  • i think dee dee was in rehab around this time. it probably took a lot of his edge off.

  • He's always been a mediocre singer.

I love the guy cuz he's an original ramone.

But for real, CJ was wayyy better.

"Endless Vacation" or "Strength To Endure"

It's pretty one sided if you ask me.

  • but you cant really compare dee dee and cj even if cj could sing better dee dee wrote most of the early ramones song and when dee dee left i think that the quality of the songs went down if you know what i mean

  • Yeah thats true..

I thought he still wronte songs for them tho even after he left.

And even so, they didnt last much longer after he left cuz they just didn't wanna do it anymore.

  • i love this song and it's how i feel before i fight. How weird is that?

  • It's nice to hear the full, original version of this. The Ramones cut a lot out when they did the song.

  • LMAO!!! total dee dee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

  • This is great. The "Russian Bear" is most likely referring to Nikolai Volkoff. CJ's vocals on this is a great song though.

  • Actually, the Russian Bear was Ivan Koloff, a wrestling star of the 70's.

  • Dee Dee is brilliant.

  • Seriously, what the fuck?

  • Cocaine is a hell of a drug...

  • yeah he used to beg my dad to buy it for him XDD

  • first comment great song
