  • Whoever says John Lennon was an asshole is an asshole. Even Freddie loved John.

  • he was in absolute agony whilst filming these last few videos just to say good by to us all .RIP my friend may u have found peace and god bless u for giving me memories with all your songs .I truly repect you.

  • Why do people insist on bringing up the 'Gay' and the 'Aids' element in a derogatory way? Just listen to the fuckin music and take your (what sounds like) 'Hitler' comments somewhere else. Preferably where no one else can see them.

  • I can't watch this!

  • Poor Freddie ... I prefer to watch him in this video without colour :(

  • I truelly Love this man, when i was 8 years old he leurn me about the world.,justit because he was so realy to,me know lies,he Live life.Freddie because of you I will Live true and with know shame,of my belives,Man I wil always love you.and you are in my hart forever.Thank you so math.

  • it makes me want to hold you...then i think i'd be afraid to break you. I love you Freddie, thank you for everything.

  • I Still Love You...

  • бЛЯТЬ,как же его съела болезнь ((((((((((((((((

  • What a great performer, there will NEVER BE ANOTHER FREDDY! He is greatly missed and loved by all of his millions of fan's around the world RIP Freddy <3

  • THOSE DAYS ARE ALL GONE NOW BUT ONE THING IS TRUE, WHEN I LOOK AND I FIND NO CHANGE. freddie mercury you are a true legend RIP

  • Great Lover of Life and Unforgettable Singer of Songs

  • It breaks my heart to see him like that ... Freddie forever missed!!! :'(

  • Okay why must people tell me over and over again what Aids does to the immune system. I have been reading about Aids since I was probably about 11 years old and I did a project on it in my health class. I also brought in the movie And The Band Played on so people please stop telling me what Aids does like I don't know anything about it at all.

  • Having always watched this in b&w before I had never realised how heavy Freddie's make up was and how ill he looked.

I doubt you could keep such a secret these days and it just shows how loyal his staff and the people around Queen were. RIP Freddie.

  • The best frontman ever. No question. So sad to see him like this - feeling so ill.

What guts to be able to do this, and ask the band to perform like he did. You can see the sadness on their faces - especially Brian and Roger. They were like brothers.

  • No wonder why Queen shot their video in black and white. Freddie looks so gaunt and pale. He didn't deserve that disease of HIV

  • cant believe he's gone, i feel truley sorry for him that he went so early

  • @GiveMeMyWhammy he's not gone, he lives on through his music :)

he's one of the greatest singers ever imo.

  • His face is sad.

  • did they mime the video, but recorded the song a year earlier?

  • freddie for ever !!!

  • i still cant buhlee hes dead :(

  • Freddie was a very strong person. Freddie never complained that he knew he would die soon, he was always positive and lived for the music. This shows that Freddie Mercury was a very very very strong man and person. Thanks Freddie- thank you for your work, and you live for ever in our hearts with your music!! :)

  • He may have been gay, but we didn't care. He was singer/rock star first and foremost. His private life he kept private and we didn't begrudge him.

  • Have never seen this "coloured" version of my favourite Queen song before. Freddie, so sad, we love you, RIP. xxxxxx

  • Gracious. Freddie i look at you holding the hand mirror, the makeup lady doing your face, does anyone of these people who were there that day know they were witnessing something divine, a miracle taking place? Did they realize that this was the most selfless thing they will ever get to see? Every single person who got to meet you, see you perform live is lucky, i just wish i was one of them. thank you Freddie for making me see life clearer, i'll remembe always.

  • @carmelle127

it impressed me incredibly - no kidding - with how much real love your comment was written.

and - true - that was a live miracle indeed.

  • A alma e a vida do Queen se foi, pois o inigualável Freddie se foi ,TE AMO FREDDIE

  • God Bless Farrokh Bulsara <3

  • He really was the great pretender, wasnt he?

  • heartbreaking.

  • The world miss you , honey !!! C´mon....come back!!!!

  • I miss him:(

  • If you're going to say "Fuck you", say it to the right people.

Say "Fuck you, Paul Prenter, fuck you and the horse you rode in on."

Don't say "Fuck you, Jim Hutton."

Seamus stayed by Freddie to the end.

  • I like when he stops for a moment and gives that smile. lol

  • omg.. hate to see Fredy like that =/

  • Сколько сил и мужества было у этого ВЕЛИКОГО ЧЕЛОВЕКА!!! Таких как ОН очень мало!!! Светлая память (((

  • I'm assuming this was the final video Freddie shot?

  • @mook5555 Yes. I think May '91.

  • he had every excuse in the world to stop making music, but he didnt. I will always respect him for that

  • Love you Freddie ♥

  • fuck you jim hutton!

ohh god freddie looked so sick... T_T but now he's happy in heaven :')

  • @iLoveQueenandBeatles actually freddie gave hutton HIV not vis-versa.

  • @Mozilla345 well, if that so, then where freddie got the disease ?

would you explain it to me?

  • @iLoveQueenandBeatles Actually I will, freddie slept with a lot of guys and girls over the years, and I mean a lot. So he must have gotten one from one of them.

  • @Mozilla345 oh gosh,, watta sad news, well i want to be one of those girls hahahahaa but not the one who gave him disease :P

  • @iLoveQueenandBeatles Please get your facts straight. Jim Hutton was one of the nicest and most genuine people to ever grace this earth, and if you love Queen and/or Freddie, you'll not malign him.

  • Frail, gaunt and very ill indeed, but the genius of Freddie was still there. Having been a Queen fan since 1975 and seeing them twice in 1979 and 1980, I still maintain this is the very best Queen track off their very best album, Innuendo-and I don't say that lightly either.

  • just saw the days of our lives documentary and they had this footage plus more color film in intense hd quality. i started crying he looked so sick.

  • Heart wrenching to see the great man looking like this. Reminds me of my Grandfather in his last day. He died of cancer and not Aids but the gaunt, frail appearance and hollowed eyes reminds me of him. I guess that's just what death looks like.

    RIP Freddie.

  • i have a question - when did Freddy know that he had aids ? I Think somewhere between the last concert ( 86 ) and his hit Barcelona ( end 87 )

  • @walter4092 I think it was Live Aid.

  • Comment removed

  • @mccartney2011 i think that s correct , Queen performes stops at fall 86 , at that time he was found not seropotive

but at he beginning of 87 , one of his friends has contracted aids but didn t knew it , what you wrote is in my opinion correct , Freddie know that he had aids but he always deny it and because of the band members he goes on with recording songs and recording videotapes .Rather than to rest it cost him much strenght ,after recording innuendo

he had lost all his power

  • @walter4092 Yeah. Freddie though denied the AIDS not because of denial, but to protect he and his friends, family and bandmates' privacy. Freddie always was a person who valued his own privacy, saying after he announced he had AIDS, "My privacy has always been very special to me and I am famous for my lack of interviews. Please understand this policy will continue."

  • @mccartney2011 He just look really gay, does that even mean anything at all? You whatch this video and that's what you come out whit? the strenght of caracter, how brave and human he was, but you saw none of that. Man you really need to learn to understand what is you're seeing and it's extremely important that you grow a heart cause no1 would want to be around someone like you.

  • Comment removed

  • @mccartney2011 You take time to say vulgar things like calling me names, yet i still don't understang what u meant by saying " he look gay" I know gay also mean happy. But what is happy about seeing a beautiful human being like Freddie ravaged by such a cruel disease? It is admirable, brave and selfless of Freddie for writing and singing this song and making this video and all the other song he made for us all through his pain. I still don't see gay no matter how you meant it. Thank you Freddie

  • @mccartney2011 You say "you've got to agree with me that he look terrible" and all the other thing you went on to say about the "gay" thing you can't seem to let go of. Well i don't agree with you not ever not on this. I see Freddie sick with a disease for which there was no treatment for back then meaning the man was in constent imesurable pain through it all he sing, he had to sit every 2 mins or so while making this video and i love him more for it. You say you love him drop this "gay" thing

  • God I cry my eyes out watching this!

  • its him... but its not him

  • Ouch, this hurts...

  • god he looks so ill when he made this video. A true artist to the end. Freddie is greatley missed.

  • what a shame look at that kid shit it hurts so much rip big man

  • FUCK AIDS!

    R.I.P. Freddie.

  • 13 people have no soul.

  • damn... he was really weak.

everything at this point needed so much effort.

  • Just seeing him like that...RIP

  • Okay um people need to chill out all I said was he died from bronchial pnuemonia brought on by Aids.

  • Freddie may have been frail but he sang his heart out on Innuendo. I miss him. We will always have Queen's music to remember him by.

  • I remember that i've heard something about that when they did this video he was almost blind on one of his eyes.

  • Freddie is my only hero and i thing he will always be. So wonderful man and artist. It's really sad for my to watch this video. Freddie i hope you find peace!

  • It must have been very, very difficult for him to do this, but he was the ultimate showman and would never let his fans down. Freddie Mercury and Elvis Presley are the greatest performing stars ever and all the rest are wimps! They may be gone but they will never be forgotten. Just listen to todays singers, mediocre bands and poor noise that passes for music and you'll understand. Who wants to live forever? They will.

  • @1969atam I would add to your list, David Bowie, Elton John, Cher, maybe a handful of others- but you are right, true true showman are out there.

  • @1969atam Elvis, while respected, is not comparable to Queen. Queen was just so different and so much better, it was definitely another style.

  • @1969atam well theres john lennon....i dont think he was a wimp, nor do i think jimi hendrex was a wimp too :/

  • @xXM3taLlicAXx1 John Lennon was just an asshole :P Freddie on the other hand... was a great personality, as well as completely brilliant. Hard to argue with that.

  • @VahnsGrl244 how was john lennon an asshole? just wondering cause i always thought of him as a i guess "peace maker"

  • @xXM3taLlicAXx1 Yeah given what he sings about most people would think he was a nice guy... but he had a bad temper and was pretty violent. Once he screamed at his 4 year old son for not knowing how to cut steak... until he damaged his son's hearing. Point is, if I could choose between the two, I'd much rather meet Freddie.

  • @VahnsGrl244 John rocks, Freddie rocks ;D and John was a vegetarian or macrobiotic for a very long time, so I don't see his son eating steak.

  • @Iva972 Macrobiotics are allowed to eat meat, some do. And the whole vegetarian thing was on and off for John... He still wore fur sometimes. I think he just wanted to try something new :P He didn't stick with it too strictly after the '70s. Look up "John Lennon temper" on google, it's the first link you'll find (about his son, I mean) Oh well, who cares, this is Freddie's video, let's keep it that way :) Great song. Great man.

  • @VahnsGrl244 quoting Freddie Mercury himself "Lennon is a genius" (from Life is Real lyrics)

  • @LaLobaGitana I may love Freddie but I'm capable of forming my own opinions. Musically Lennon did a lot in his lifetime, but that doesn't change the fact that he was an asshole :P Freddie is better ;)

  • @VahnsGrl244 sorry i missed a comment and thought u were referring to Lennon as a musician :P

  • @VahnsGrl244 hey, don't say that about John Lennon.

  • @emispearsyeah Dude, you can be in denial all you want but he was NOT that great of a person. He had a good message... if only he lived by it.

  • @VahnsGrl244 God... why you say that he was not a good a person?.

  • @VahnsGrl244 Don't say that about John Lennon I am a fan of both Queen and beatles

  • @TheBEATLESMania100n2 So I'm supposed to change my opinions because YOU like both Queen and the Beatles? My bad, let me adjust my personality to not insult yours :P Whether you like him or not doesn't change who he was. There is no arguing about this, some people are just uneducated or in denial.

  • @VahnsGrl244 Go easy man, you say this about Freddie 'Whether you like him or not doesn't change who he was' & yet declare John Lennon to be an asshole & then judge people who liked him? People loved Lennon AND/OR Mercury, if you think you have some right to dictate people to like one over the other, then you're the uneducated asshole

  • @1969atam THE REST ARE WIMPS?

For the most part I agree with you good sir, except you seem to have forgot a few key performers.

Performers like Michael Jackson and Fred Astaire.

  • Poor Freddie... :'(

  • i miss this guy

  • u can see from his face he looks extremely sick and pale..thats why they shot this video in black nd white so his yellowish complexion which was brought by aids could be hidden..Aids is bad!!

  • @eddyisno2 I don't believe in AIDS! It was not AIDS Freddie died from!

  • @marinazi1 u dont believe in aids!!r u kiddin!

  • @marinazi1 Um where have you been for the past 30 years? Aids is real and if you dont believe in it then I hope you don't go around having unprotected sex cause you could wind up getting what you don't believe in. He died from Bronchial Pneumonia which was brought on by Aids. Go do some reading and hope you start believing.

  • @MsHeidiA You"ve sound me an official version - everyone knows it! Your judgemennts are as new as an old hat - very narrowminded. (Excuse me, pls) impossible to have some conversation with ppl like you - usless. So, i shouldn"n write about - all of you cannot understand. I have my opinion on the theme, you are disagree - it"s your right. But, believe me, it has foundation what I"d said of! It was not only AIDS he died from. I gess it, cos I'm very much alike his tipe.

  • @MsHeidiA Aids breaks down your immune system to the point to where you cant fight off no type of flu, pneumonia, chest cold, etc. The Pneumonia wasn't brought on by aids, his immune system was severely diminished to fight off any infection or cold he may have gotten.

  • 11 people are gonna die..

  • @oOStellaDelVesproOo What a horrible thing to say. Maybe they didn't like the video because Freddie looked so ill.

  • @Cassie8810 maybe, but i don't think so.. i think he was incredible strong even if these were his lasts days

  • message for 11 persone : stupiddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!

    freddie,we still love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bleedforme1981 Yes, Eric Carr died the same day as Freddie Mercury, November 24, 1991. He's playing drums for Freddie in heaven. Both incredible artists!

  • When he says "I still love you" I tear up

  • @lemoniceluxe Me too :(

  • THE FINAL SONG OF FREDDIE WHEN HE WAS ALIVE

  • Theres never been another voice like his!! This song makes my well up everytime i hear it yet i still play it on repeat! Queen were the days of his life! its so true. The man is definately missed among his fans.

  • I miss Freddie so much and I cant believe that he is die For me he will never die

  • @SmackQAF I've been listening to many of Freddie's less known songs, and they are absolutely beautiful beyond words....such as...Nevermore, Bijou, Funny How Love Is, In Only Seven Days, Lily of the Valley, My Melancholy Blues, Jealousy. There's a treasure of songs that he left us that many fans have not yet heard, but thanks to Youtube we have the opportunity to discover this little treats everyday. I too miss Freddie so much and wish he were here, but listening to his music helps.

  • It's sad to see people remember Freddie for his homosexualy instead of focusing on the beautiful music he has left us. Freddie worked until his last breath making music for us. It was the only way he could face saying goodbye to his friends and fans. It's heartbreaking to think that if he had contracted the disease later, he would have lived long enough to benefit from the new drugs that came along in the mid-nineties. I believe he contracted HIV in late 70s. We Still Love You Freddie!

  • @MsSweetunes I totally agree, Freddie was SO MUCH more, and his music will live forever..u don't find any other amazing singers and performers like him anymore... Freddie contracted HIV in the late 80's and lived with it for a couple of years before it turned into AIDS...he only lived a short while with fullblown AIDS.... filming this video was agonizing for him, but he had to do it. Breaks my heart everyt ime I see it, to see him so sick and fragile..... I miss him every day.

  • @MsSweetunes Freddie was diagnosed in 1987, IIRC. Some of the vocals for the "Made in Heaven" album he sang in the months prior to his passing and Brian, Roger, and John added the music later. His last song was actually "Mother Love" off the "Made in Heaven" album. Brian actually sings the last verse on that song.

  • @MsSweetunes Correct you are on that, maybe the best singer ever.... Kills me to see him so gaunt and sick. Eric Carr was the same way on the god Gave rock N Roll to you by KISS before he died.

  • No one deserves what Freddie had to go thru... no one! :( It makes me cry everytime

  • Freddie will always be the KING of Queen

  • It hurts watching this... But it shows how strong he was. Even when dying, he could still perform better than any other performer could. RIP Freddie.

  • @xplay108 if i could click a million like it would be the best on youtbe

  • @xplay108 so it hurts much damn but still love him

  • You can easily notice in this video Freddie was in the final stages of his illness with AIDS - poor guy. We will always miss you friend, you sir were a true legend

  • Who cares what Freddie's sexuality was!

    It's the music that counts.

His sexuality was his business and even though I dont agree with what he did, he still had an amazing voice.

    KEEP YOUR NOSES OUT!

    IT WAS HIS CHOICE!

  • I really wish that trashy people like kawashima33 would look at their own lives and see how screwed up they are so they can stop talking about shit they are too stupid to understand. Homosexuality is not something chosen, it is something you are born with. One cannot change who they are, and people like you can't do shit about it. Wise up and get a clue, asshole, before you get yourself into real trouble with that sexist mouth of yours.

  • Comment removed

  • @kawashima How uneducated and foolish can you get?! Not only was Freddie Mercury one of the GREATEST musicians of all time, regardless of sexuality, he was an incredible person. Sexuality is NOT a choice and you DON'T get STD's from being gay. ANYBODY can get these STD's. You are a sad, afraid person who needs to grow up.

  • @kawashima33 You complete asshole. How inconsiderate can you get? Not only do you now have millions of people that hate you- but if you actually knew anything about this heartbreaking disease, you would know that it can affect ANYONE. Not just homosexuals and one day it could even affect you. Dont be so stupid and ignorant and stop commenting on videos where you are clearly not wanted.

  • @kawashima33 whatever. if you want to live your life as a sad, homophobic man then fine. I just hope someday you might realize what a total idiot you have made yourself to be. No one deserves death, and it's inhuman the way you say freddy did, just because he was gay. Have a nice life, asshole

  • It's sad that Freddie contracted AIDS and died but what is even sadder as I watched a documentary he knew aids was a big risk and in his own words when he was asked if he changed his lifestyle ie- sleeping with numerous people he said Fuck it. He brought his death upon himself early due to his sexual encounters he continued to have knowing aids was a deadly disease. I love Queen and Freddie but he had a choice to stop having unprotected sex with many men but he chose not too very sad

  • @laysea65 AIDS was a complete mystery to both the general public and medical community throughout much of the 80s. It wasn't even mentioned in the media until '84 and by then thousands had already contracted it since it has a hibernation period of up to a decade or more. Nobody knew how it was contracted and no reliable tests were available. Freddie most likely contracted it during the late 70s long before the first cases were reported. You're living in a completely different time.

  • @laysea65 cont.... Dozens of famous artists, designers, musicians, etc were lost during the 80s and 90s including Rock Hudson, Keith Harring, Dack Rambo, etc. Even Magic Johnson tested HIV positive and he's heterosexual. You sound extremely ignorant about the history and nature of the disease. AIDS has only been around for about 30 yrs. Before AIDS, nobody wore condoms or practiced "safe sex" b/c none of the STDs were deadly. You're speaking from a post-AIDS perspective. Do some research

  • @laysea65 "when asked if he changed his lifestyle ie- sleeping with numerous people, he said Fuck it. "...Wrong. He never made that comment himself. I saw the same documentary and it was one of his handlers who recounted him saying that. Like many homosexual men back then Mercury learned about the disease AFTER he'd contracted it b/c the govt and media were ignoring the disease. They referred to it as "the gay plague". Sorry about the multiple posts. I just had to clarify a few things

  • @kawashima33 i honestly find it sad that i actually have to argue this point with you. First im neither gay nor bi, but i have very close friends who are. They are people too. Who decided that loving the opposite sex is wrong? Freddy Mercury and anyone else who is gay/bi, has a right to love who they want to. Second, aids can happen to anyone be they gay, bisexual, straight, etc. Get your facts right. Third, maybe Freddy wanted to go back in time to live the life he lost so early.

  • @kawashima33 you asshole.

You think that you can just comment on this video like that? Have some respect! the man DIED! Have you no shame? Honestly. what makes you believe saying something like that is even REMOTELY okay? People who are gay/bi deserve the same ammount of respect as those who aren't. Someone's life was unlived, and all you can say is good riddance? I want to say that i hope you someday feel the pain people close to Freddy felt when he died, but no one derserves that. no one

  • Next year for his 20th, there should be another tribute concert!, huge, like no other before, one, well just fitting to freddie!

  • 19 ans de peines !!! I love my freddie

  • :( he looks so skinny and ill without the black and white

  • 19 Fucking Years!!!!!!!

  • @KnightRiderfan15 , oui 19 ans de peines !!! I love my Mercury

  • @FreddieMercury1er ??? What did you mean was meinst du ich mein er ist 19 Blöde Jahre tot!!

  • Rest in peace Freddie....(24nd November 1991).......we will never forget you....and we will always still love you forever......you´re the BEST, and you still the best of all....

  • Ain’t no angel gonna greet me

It’s just you and I my friend

    youtube.com/watch?v=GJfJyPMk2rU

  • I think you should take this video down :/ Freddie looks so ill and I wouldn't think he would want anyone to see how ill he was...................

  • @ryneldo i totally agree - have some god damn respect!!!

  • @ryneldo Actually, he intentionally recorded this. He wanted us to know. To remember. God love him.

  • so basically he is saying goodbye everyone

  • The tears in his eyes....makes you so sad// But he kept fighting till the end..

  • probably the only guy I would have gone gay for

  • I have no strength to watch dis..Mercury is so weak n we can see how sick he must have been dis time.KING MERCURY.

  • a man only dies when he's forgotten, Freddie will never die

  • @paintedship PERFECT, I totally agree. Freddie will never die!!

  • @paintedship Oh man this has to be one of the strongest things I've ever heard about freddie. Nice one. I'll have to remember it :)

  • @paintedship very nice quote

  • @paintedship Freddie will never fucking die!!!

  • This looks so sad....I love you Freddie. You didn't die, you lived forever.

  • I disagree with the comments on this video that Freddie died as he lived. Freddie was a beautiful soul with an extraordinary gift and he graced us with his presence here on earth! Everyone dies eventually, some too soon, and can we say we have given as much as Freddie did? I ask that you please refrain from remarks that make judgement on his lifestyle and instead celebrate this man of incredible talent, passion and love! Thank you Freddie for loving us so much! We will always love you!

  • he has such a incredible voice and you tell that he was ill but his voice was flawless

  • I just noticed that Freddie here has exact the same jacket as Brian has in Tribute Concert.

  • He looks so miserable behind the seen. I feel like crying.

  • Roger Taylor said that Freddie was barely able to stand when they made this video. It was show in May 1991 - just six months before he died.

  • its clear that three songs at very least were written about freddies illness, it seems in three stages: im going slightly mad about the diseases side affects, the show must go on is almost saying "il find a way through this till the end" but these are the days of our lives (obviously intentionally freedie's swansong) shows him at peace. a final bow to mr mercury, a one off musician, singer and entertainer. i dont think there will ever be another like him. you were one of a kind
