Kyle, guy with green lightsaber, kind of does that from time to time in the game but it doesn't come up often enough to make me hate the acting. Good point. I can respect you despite the lack of professional acting reviews. I have found much less reliable and dumber ppl. lol Nice change of pace. Thanks! =D

Closest thing to that is that show called House.There might be a hint of it but that is probably b/c you don't live here.There is no real American accent other than something close to Dr. House or sterotypical hickness ala King of the Hill or something. There is a bit of overacting but not on purpose.That scene asked for it a little.

It was good for its time and it still holds up to many films.Avatar had corny.Anakin's "love" comments to Padme r corny.C3-P0's comments in prequels were bad. Darth Vader's last line is slightly corny but better.Ben-Kenobi's lines were so corny that the actor personally asked GL to kill the character.4 every back-up line in originals there were 3 good lines that came from the SW team and not GL.

Why not use real actors? The alternative would have been to use in-game graphics, which would have sucked. Look at the cutscenes to 'Mysteries of the Sith' to see the difference in quality, you end up with a bunch of blockheads standing around nodding at each other.

Having real actors made this feel like a mini-movie, and was much more entertaining.

LucasArts filmed these cutscenes for the game. Don't know why the cutscenes won't play on modern hardware. They play on my MacBook Pro running WinXP but there are black, blocky video artefacts ruining the scenes. Best thing to do is come here and watch them when you complete a level.

Probably the best Star Wars fps ever made! The graphics were phenomenal for the time (except for the player and NPCs) and the levels are *astoundingly* HUGE! There's a flying cheat that allows one to fully appreciate the size of some of these. Nar Shaddaa is a great example.

I really need to dig this out and play it again. It holds up to today's gaming standards I think.

Maybe the TIE shot and miss and Kyle was probably hit by the laser's blast radius (like we can a single laser hit on an unarmored person can vaporize him) and maybe him personal shield absorb some the impact because after he is wounded.

Cuz Kyle's a badass and he climbs buildings for fun. You trying to play the game on Vista? I had the same problem, with the game crashing after the first cutscene. It was an easy fix for me, though. I just had to open it in a window. The screen was a little fucked up on the side, but it was entirely playable.
