Laissez-faire doesnt mean let the rich rule but keep government out. Its not just the side most people think off such as no restrictive regulations, taxes or tariffs, but it also means that business cant use government to pass laws, regulations etc in order to let themselves have domination over their competitors.It means that governments dont interfere in the market such as creating Fannie & Freddie who insured all the NINJA loans or gov doesnt use tax payers money to bail out the connected etc

I'm more worried about corporations taking over people's lives than the government doing it. We need to reassess the idea of giving unlimited power to the private sector as we're doing under the guise of freedom and the free market, because we're creating tyrants who lobby and write our laws to the point that they're far closer to creating Big Brother than our government... which they essentially own already.
