  • The NBA will never recreate the 80's and 90's. Back then, players played for the love of the game...today it's just for the money and fame.

...I blame Allen Iverson, him and his tattoos started this whole thing in 96.

  • im sorry i was out for 18th months..words from mj...those words made people connect to him even more..like me, who only got to see him on cable during 1996..words coming from his mouth are just so true, gracious and real..that when it comes to basketball..he lets his game speak. Superstars today should learn how to be humble & gracious on court and stop whining!♥ mj had this tremendous expectations esp w/ his 2nd comeback & yet..he was sorry & never blame anyone...that says something about him.

  • I can smell another bulls dynasty near the future.

  • 72-10 Plus a championship. Best Team EVER!

  • Did everybody see all the Traveling violations The refs called on the bulls this game?? I see WAY MORE travels in todays NBA then i did in the 90s. How come they dont call travels on Lebron, Kobe, Wade Pierce etc?? The League is watered down now days. If these guys played in the 80s and 90s they wouldnt make it. Freakin Cry Babies!! Long live DA BULLS!

  • @jungshin87 Of that game definitely. Of the series, well, we all know who earned that. G.O.A.T.! This gives me chills.

  • Jordan was so emotional. Btw he won this championship on fathers day. He pops died in 93

  • 2:01 somebody forgot Willis Reed

  • Dennis Rodman was the MVP. Yeah I said it.

  • Randy Brown wanted that ball. MJ was like hell naw.

  • Jordan is obviously the greatest, but Rodman deserved MVP in this game.

  • Eternally Inspired by this game 6!!!!!!!!!!! enough said

  • game 1 and game 2 wasn't that bad after all for jordan, scoring 29 points in game 1 and 28 in game 2. not bad!!!!! game 5 was ok, 26 points not bad, i think the bulls player who did the best in game 4 and game 6 was dennis rodman averaging no less than 12 rebounds when jordan was under 25 points

  • Do they still do cigars?

  • @ladiestreat your an idiot to think that ok Jordan had a bad game so what but they still won the series that's why is call a team sport duhhh

  • you can see Scottie Pippen laughing at the end of game 4 when Bulls were losing that game against Seattle. Chicago Bulls obviously lose two games on purpose.

  • Man.... i cant believe Michael is already retired :(

  • The same year 3 MVP Fock is the best nba player everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....lebron suck jajajaj

  • this was simply great basketball - with great teams. and one oft the three most greatest teams of all times.

"i did it for daddy - hope he´s watching" - damn i am crying now. nice game mj!

  • phil jackson has a ring for every finger im curious to where he puts the 11th one

  • @nycmachinegun hahahahahhaha :D

  • I always cringe when Jim Gray does an interview waiting for him to be a prick and ruin the moment. Ahmad is the best

  • I aint a bulls fan but i gotta say this is most sad moment in the NBA to me Micheal Jordan and the bulls winning the championship on fathers day. I understand what Micheal Jordan was feelin when he won the championship i lost a parent myself this is why i gotta say this is my favorite moment of jordan i still get sad when i watch.

  • I feel personally pippen did better then jordan in this game.

  • why is Randy Brown hugging the ball with Jordan?

  • @kuyaoyster Because he was very happy because of winning the title, what a stupid question..

  • Michael Jordan 5/19...

With similar percentages obe would be crucified.

    Here Michael is a hero.

    5/19, man....

  • @leo57767 Actually MJ was criticized for playing poorly. And when MJ has a poor shooting game, it's not because he's taking 23-25 ft 3 pointers. That's what's frustrating about Kobe's game. He settles so much for long distance shots. He plays 5-10 minutes of good b-ball in the post (just like MJ did) but then starts launching 3 pointers. 5/19 when you're playing within the offense is a bad game. 5/19 when you play 1 on 1 and settle for a 25 ft jumpers is bad offense. There is a difference

  • @leo57767 And don't mistake my comments for "hate". Because I do think Kobe (especially the last 3 years) has been the best in the NBA and is currently playing his best ball of his career. He just settles too much for bailout long contested jumpers.

  • @leo57767 Not really. Kobe was 6 for 24 in game 7 of the finals this year and he wasn't crucified.

  • I'll contend to my dying day that the Bulls lost games 4 and 5 on purpose so they could win on their homecourt.

  • @KennethKaniffFromCT prove it funboy.

  • @Ladiestreat Funboy???

  • @KennethKaniffFromCT Why would the Bulls tank any game against the Sonics when they had a chance to post the best playoff record in NBA history?

If the Bulls would of swept the Sonics the 96 Bulls go down as the greatest team of all time. Personally after seeing how horrible the Bulls were when Jordan couldn't hit a jump shot I think the 83' Philly 76'ers were a better overall team.

  • @Ladiestreat. LOL Your joking right, the 1983 76ers better than 1996 Bulls??? Bulls had three guys on NBA ALl-Defensive team oh and MJ had trouble with his jumpshot because the Defensive Player of the yr that season in Gary Payton was on him---76ers didn;t face anyone close to being on the same defensive level as Payton or the Sonics team in general. Both are great teams but Bulls 72-10 record and in a tougher yr for the NBA.

  • @JZ2001JC Moses Malone would have destroyed the 96 Bulls inside. He outweighed Rodman by 30-40 lbs and was just as active. Dr J was better than Pippen, although Pippen was definitely the better defensive player. Obviously, Jordan is by far the best player, but at the 2 Andrew Toney was one helluva player-- Jordan played against him & attested to that. He would've gotten his 20-25. Bulls had no one to contend w/ Mo Cheeks

76ers faced the Celtics &Lakers, both far far better teams than 96 Seattle

  • @JZ2001JC It would've been a good series. The Jordan Bulls were such an oddly constructed unconventional team. No real big, no PG. Super athletic and effective 2-4. Short bench. One-dimensional role players. On paper, they don't really match up very well w/ the 83 Sixers, the 86 Celts, or several of the 80s Lakers teams. Talent-wise they're more sim to Shaq-Kobe Lakers & Bad Boy Pistons... Doesn't mean they aren't GOAT, but it would be a tough road when you look at matchups (aside from MJ)

  • @senjahcore. You my friend are delusional. First of all Rodman STOPPED a RPIME SHAQ and SHaq outweighed him by 100 ibs and Shaq in his prime is WAY BETTER than Moses Malone. MJ would have gotten 70 on Andrew Toney (lol) if he wanted to. Pippen stopped Magic in 91 Finals so he obviously could get best of DR J. Mo Cheeks was a great player in an NBA era (early 80s) were players were not near as athlteic as the 90s NBA. No one would stop Kukoc from 76ers and Bulls had a deeper bench.

  • @JZ2001JC Rodman didn't stop Shaq. I actually watched the series. This is what happened:

The Bulls learned from their Game 6 loss the previous year to the Magic, when pressure defense almost got them the win. The Bulls pressed the Magic, who had only 1 ballhandler (Penny). They forced Penny to give the ball to Anderson & Scott, who were both very poor ballhandlers.

THE BALL NEVER GOT TO SHAQ...

It was brilliant defense by the Bulls, but it had nothing to do w/ Rodamn 1-on-1 w/ Shaq

  • @senjahcore. LOL at 86 Clets, that same 86 Clets team that gave up nearly 115 PPG to the SUCKY 86 Bulls and a young immature MJ AVG 45 PPG that series. Obviously the 96 Bulls (million times greater than sucky 86 Bulls) would get whatever they want plus they had lockdown Defense against the way more unathletic 86 Celts, and MJ's game in 96 was more polished and better so if he needed to he could have AVG 60 PPG. Again 96 Bulls bench deeper than 86 Celts bench. Old man Bill Walton LOL.

  • @JZ2001JC Let's see, what else don't you know? Answer: 80s Basketball.

Shaq was not "WAY BETTER" than Moses Malone.

Moses is the league's 7th all-time scorer. Shaq will be 6th after next year, when Kobe passes him. Moses won 3 MVPs DURING the Magic-Bird-MJ era. How many did Shaq win? Moses led multiple teams to the Finals, was a much better rebounder and defender than Shaq...

And then there's Mo Cheeks, whom you think wasn't athletic enough to compete w/ Steve Kerr... You may need Jesus, bruh

  • @JZ2001JC Notice that I'm not discounting the possibility that the 96 Bulls might not beat the teams under discussion, whereas you (b/c you are a Blind Bulls Fanatic) want to run a steamroller over any possibility other than the Bulls consecutively sweeping all those teams...

The 96 Sonics weren't better than the 86 Celts. I don't know one basketball person who would agree w/ you on that. Kemp had no post game, played purely on athleticism. Their outside shooting was suspect. By contrast

  • @JZ2001JC By contrast, the Celts had the best frontcourt in NBA history and DJ and Ainge in the backcourt, a rejuvenated Walton off the bench and Ced Maxwell... You're right, they weren't great defensively. The Bulls' athleticism would've given them problems. But their size would've been a major problem for Chicago. Celts were a tremendous offensive team inside and out, had one of the five greatest players ever & had hell-&-back competitors all over the court... Jordan's Bulls never beat them.

  • @senjahcore. Did you see what 91 Bulls team (not as good as 96 Bulls) did to the Lakers in 91??? Case closed there. At least Seattle took a better Bulls team to 6 games. Also, Im sick of the arguement that Longley and Bulls Centers were no match for those Centers in the 80s. Longley held his own against Zo, Ewing, and Shaq (all in their Primes) in 96 playoffs and all three of those Centers each are way more athtletic and stronger than the 80s Centers. Thanks for playing HATERS. 96 Bulls GOAT.

  • @JZ2001JC Again, you don't know the 80s NBA:

the 91 Lakers bore little resemblance to the 80s Lakers, esp by the time they met the Bulls in the Finals. Byron Scott (a 20PPG, 40%3PT) didn't play: hamstring. Worthy & Magic were both slowed w/ hamstring injuries & basically dragged themselves around the court that series... Kareem was retired by then, replaced w/ a scared-looking rookie Euro at 5 named Vlade...

Bulls dominated an old, worn out team that shouldn't have even been in the Finals

  • @JZ2001JC The 80s Lakers were a different deal: Kareem, remember, was Finals MVP at the age of 39. Not even MJ ever did that. So, b/c the Bulls had a bunch of scrubs at center, Rodman would've had to guard the 7'4 Kareem... Um, No...

I love the Bulls perimeter defenders: Harp, MJ, Pip...

But look at the Lakers 1, 2, 3: Magic, Byron, James... Worthy was 6'10, faster & stronger than Pip. Watch some video. You'll be impressed... Magic is Magic...

The big difference is the bench, however: The Bulls

  • @JZ2001JC The difference btw 80s Lakers& 96 Bulls was the bench... At various times LA brought Norm Nixon, Bob McAdoo, Woolridge, Mychael Thompson,AC Green off the bench: All All-Stars. McAdoo: Top 50 all time... Plus Michael Cooper

Bulls had an excellent bench in terms of role players but nothing close to the sheer talent of the Lakers

The 96 Bulls would have a chance, but, personally, I'd take LA in 6

By the way, 83 6ers: Toney wouldn't guard MJ, Bobby Jones would. He'd hold him under 50

  • @JZ2001JC The 96 Bulls were a great, great team. I'm not arguing you about that. But their record (and Phil Jackson has admitted this) was inflated by the recent expansion the league had undergone. The league was NOT AS COMPETITIVE as it had been in the 80s, when there were far fewer teams across which to disperse the talent...

They never had to deal w/ a great big ON A GREAT TEAM (like Kareem), nor a front line as large and skilled as the Celtics.

Those would've been some epic battles!

  • @senjahcore The Lakers with Magic and Kareem, nearly coughed up a double digit lead to the Isaiah-less Pistons in game 7 at home. Bulls swept that Pistons team with Isaiah 2 years later. Bulls consistently proved that they could handle a team with a dominate big man by beating Ewing, Shaq, and Zo in ECFs matchups. With or without Kareem, the Lakers were going down.

  • michael jordan the bst no one can stop him thats why his my favourite player of all time

  • I really like how the fans chant "MVP! MVP! MVP!" to Micheal jordan while doing his emotional interview with Ahmad Rashad at 4:38

  • I dont think i have seen Phil Jackson smile that big with the lakers.

  • @Gruesomeb lol because with the bulls wen he went to the finals he knew hed win wit the lakers he could lose

  • how lucky were Chicago fans ? to have Michael Jordan ?

  • how lucky were Laker fans to have Shaquille O'Neal,... Magic Johnson,... Kobe Bryant, .... Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,... Wilt Chamberlain,... Jerry West,... etc. ?

how lucky were Celtics fans to have Larry Bird,... Bill Russell,... Bob Cousy,... Kevin McHale,... Kevin Garnett,... Robert Parish, etc.?

  • And Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Phil Jackson.

  • There's no way any other Bball player will ever capture a world wide audience like this guy did. Just legendary stuff. MJ and Bulls didn't have a great game, but who cares!

  • They did defensively and on the boards. Scoring is not all there is to basketball.

  • yes let´s repeat.....Michael Jordan......I feel better now...ha hah aha

  • I always wondered what Randy Brown was doing after the game was over. If he was trying to get the game ball or not.

  • it was his first ring game.

  • @michalus i wish i was at this game at least i got to see jordan once at a nets game but i wish i saw him more :( but thanks for the upload. nba was better in the 80s and 90s
