LISTEN AND LISTEN GOOD YOU JERKS!!! I love scott but hes too much of a junky to be in stp anymore or do anything good for that matter, nothing will compare to when i saw him play back in the 90s but as for this rendition its pretty damn good, Richard Patrick is the fucking man and if you cant stop jerkin off to oasis for one second to realize undoped up talent than you can go fuck yourself
It's all in your preference. If you like a late 80's influenced heavy rock with Scott's vocals on it you will love VR. If you like alt 90's rock with Patrick's vocals on it you will love AOA. It's like apples and oranges people so stop comparing the two.
there was another video of this song with army right? like kinda acoustic version but i think youtube removed it... or the user does anyone has it?? post it back again pleasE
i love the deleos, but i think velvet revolver got the better part of the stp split. it's just good that unlike most of the guys in vr, weiland MAY one day play with his old bandmates.
one can hope. being an stp fan all my life, and being young, i never got to see the amazing spectacle of STP Live. im extremely disappointed and if they ever do some shows together, i will do anything to see it.
Terrible. Patrick needs to stick to the "harder" STP stuff, he can't sing that well without the big instruments behind him. Knowing what this song is actually about hurts it as well. Weiland should be the only person singing it if the Deleo's are involved. I agree with asored.
It's not Scott... I can't get into it. If this was a totally different band I would say its a good version but I feel dirty watching this. I feel like I stole money from my Dad's wallet.
Wow! I didn't even know these guys started a new band until I saw them on Leno a couple days ago. Thanks for putting this up, I can't wait to get the album!!!
how dare you play an stp song! those lyrics are for scott only! god damn it!

Wow, I like AOA's album WAY fucking more than VR's albums, but Velvet Revolver performed this better.

I don't like this version. It's just not STP. I hated watching it, being a big STP fan. They should stick to their original music.

pretty pretty nice version!

100% right
lower distortion made this song smoother but it's as good as the regular version.
