  • Too bad that Blue Funk album went gold. I love that album even Teddy Riley didn't produced it. The final track is this: Guru, Hevster, and B.I.G. rips it up, rest in peace 3 legends. Silly me, Busta killed the song before Woo-Hah,etc. that made him a star. Heavy-D forever

  • 3 people are a buncha crackers

  • They should seriously remove the dislike button from real hip hop videos.

  • @thamaineone Preemo man.. will he ever fall off??

Peep "You" of Evidence's new album has an official film clip

Try "Fast Lane" on Edo G's album; that album is full of fyre producers man, being from AU i got a lotta love for M-Phazes.

He's producing for that chick Dynasty as well man, check they track (ignore lame intro).. tracks called "Epic Dynasty"

All Premier produced, finaly Catalyst's album Cat Life 2.. Pete Rock prodcution, you can feel it too

Nice to know a few cats still bring it ;)

  • REST IN PEACE HEAVY D RESPECT

  • RIP Heavy D.

  • I bought this album back in 92", but I did not remember BIG was on this track. This was that dope shit. This album proved that Heavy could get hardcore, This was the comeback from the sad "Peaceful Journey" when "Trouble T"-Roy died after falling off that stage back in 90-91. Rest in peace "Trouble T-Roy". Big up Heavy-D.

  • @barlog20 lol I know how you feel about albums like that

  • @barlog20 Your taste is wack. This album was a classic except for like 3 songs. This song alone is a underated classic.

  • It's in my collection and I couldn't tag it for years. Damn, finally!!!

  • Hell yeah! Classic shit and Biggie's first recorded feature! :P

  • @Logibear18 Not to be a know it all but Biggie's first recorded appearance on record was on a remix of Neneh Cherry's "Buddy-X"

    Peace

  • @coldrockdaspot Seriously? Cool! I'll go check it out. :)

  • This is the Song that let me know that Biggie was gonna kill shit in hip-hop. "I bring Drama like you spit on Mama canibalistic like that nigga jeffery Dahmer" SMH

  • get Rob-O off the track and raise Guru's vocals and the track would be perfect

    Biggie 1

    Heavy -D 2

    Busta Rhymes 3

    Third Eye 4

    Guru 5

  • @RaminME 3rd eye produced this fire btw

  • this was biggie debut..

  • I didn't think this track was very good. BIG came correct, but Busta was wack and I've never liked Heavy D. Just because it's old school don't mean it's any good. Oh well, it's still nice to hear a young, hungry BIG.

  • OK well actually this is newschool not oldschool and Heavy-D always came correct. Say what you want about Busta *shrugs* I liked it but whatever.

  • Are you kidding me?

This is one of Busta's most legendary performances, and the Guru & Rob O flipped shit as usual.

I agree;it's good to hear Biggie at an early stage, but this track merits alot more than that.

  • I sincerely disagree, Heavy D is ill as fuck, and that was possibly the best rap I've ever heard Busta do.

  • @ProjectSmammi are you high?

  • @ProjectSmammi are you high?

  • Yes. Yes I am.

  • So true...

  • official.

  • The remix of Mary J. Blige's "Real Love," which came out during the Summer of 1992, was the Notorious B.I.G.'s first appearance on record.

Heavy D's 'Blue Funk,' Supercat's "Dolly My Baby" remix and "Party and Bullshit" from the 'Who's the Man' soundtrack all came out within a few months of each other in 1993.

But the "Real Love" remix was first.

  • biggies debut

  • This is Biggie's firt-ever appearence, right? I keep hearing its Mary J Blige's Real Love, or Supercat's Dolly My Baby...but...well...this has to be the first one, right?

  • Word Up!!!!!!!!!!

  • b.i.g smashed "i bring tha drama, like ya, spit on mah mama" whooooooooooo damn boy b.i.g mah boy him and eminem my two favorite m.c's

  • Big's was the best. But Heavy killed it too, his style and delivery is unparalleled.

  • yeah every one pretty much smashed it i just love BIG's verse his flow is outrageous

  • omfg dope shit every one killed it especialy b.i.g i love when he does that hehh!!! whooooo i miss duke 4 real

  • biggie small RIP

  • Rob-O killed it.

  • Biggie and Heavy D are nasty on this

  • Guru's vocals need to be higher.

  • third eye fucking killed it.

  • damn biggie killed it..

''I bring drama like ya, spit on my momma''

  • word that line is crazy and its the first out his mouth thats fuckin skill and i love that hehh shit he does oh man crazy dope

  • where can I download this song???

  • "It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine, Salt N' Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine"

  • True Dat! This is one of the best multiple MC collaborations out there. Yeah I heard this jam for the first time on XM Radio on a mixshow a couple months ago!

Its nice to hear that REAL Hip-Hop is still out there, so there's hope for us who love the old school stuff.

    Peace! :-)

  • i would of loved to see Biggie when he became Notorious and Hev in his prime do something together! Repping for all the big poppas and oveweight lovers out there!
