The Game gear was more advanced only becouse Acclaim was too lazy to make improvements doesn`t mean the system was not capable of doing a better job.

You are right about that and as everyone knows this uses Mortal Kombat style. In Wikipedia it says Engine: Mortal Kombat but that was obvious. What i find interesting is did they really think noone will find out? why the hell did they even make these games?

The settings on your emulator are pretty fcked up.. On the actual game gear it looks a lot better.

Dragon Crystal, Batman Returns, Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion, Outrun, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all were great games for the Sega Game Gear..... But again, the only games I would play on an emulator. Everything else was kinda meh and Batman Forever takes the cake of bad.

@battoureaper: You need to use the item that fires buzz saws or somethin like that. I think the command to use it was forward down forward (don't slide the input) 1 or 2 . I had to figure out how to use the items on my own since they weren't even listed on the instruction manual of the cartridge I bought. I think the batarangs are stored by pressing down to forward and you can store up to 8 of them at once.

i need to make a correction the gameboy is actually 8 bits its the screens that are different making game gear graphically better the game gear screen had more pixels and could support more colours than the gameboy colour (that is when it came out)

Your facts are wrong, the game boy is an 8 bit system, there is no such thing as a 6 bit system.

The sales and longevity of the system speaks for itself.

one i have already stated that i made a mistake and the gameboy was 8 bits and that its the screens that made the gameboy worse than game gear and two the life has nothing to do with graphics because the wii the top of the console market is actually the worst graphically and with processing speed but its on top because the games, the game gear was better than game boy it just didnt have the third party support in america and the uk

The game gear's faillure had nothing to do with third party support and everything to do with the machine itself, it's short battery life, high price and quite honestly bad graphics.

wrong it failed because the game gear didnt get enough third party development in north america and the uk it had alot of games that would of kept it afloat in japan if they had been released in north america and the uk such as phantasy star gaiden and magic knight rayearth if those series's had been released in america it would of stretched the game gears life for a few more years until the gba came out and quite honestly you must not know much about the system

Don`t judge only by this game. Overall games were a lot better on Game Gear. The only downside was the battery consumption.

Could you post a walk through of the next level to this game. I don't have the game anymore but i couldnt pass the second level when i had it. I kept falling into this hole and after i fell into that hole i couldnt get out of it. I don't think there was an alternative to falling into the hole. If you could help me out it would be appreciated greatly.

hehe! I have this game. You have to use one of his bat gadgets with a wierd command. At the dead end I think it was something like tap back down forward plus 1 or 2 or forward down forward plus 1 or 2 or something like that. TIP: don't slide from down to forward etc. It counts as a different command.
