a friend of mine (who is a drummer) was in NY, saw a guy like this jammin in the street. the street drummer called out to him to play with him, saying 'youre special, you got rhitm, come join me. Even though he didnt knew he was a drummer he felt it.

I spent years working down there, and where I worked is where I played after work. All through the warm weather seasons you would hear that beat, it was like the heartbeat of the city.
