Maybe your sources are correct and pot really is good for the body. However, it won't people's experience... As long as the homeless, the gangs, the criminals use pot, it will always be considered a brain killing drug, due to the people who smoke it. I have heard similar things about hemp, and one could argue to legalize this plant, but it's marijuana drug form should not be allowed other than for medical usage.

Conspiracy is the right word. The reason that weed is against the law has nothing to do with health. It has to do with economics. Because weed can be planted so inexpensibly, and harvested so easily, in one's backyard, there is no one who would make money off of it if it were legal.

Hemp/cannabis wouldn't have become illegal if it didn't get in the way of pharmaceutical, alcohol, oil, and logging industries' profits. It was only prohibited because as I've shown, it would make logging, and oil industries less necessary. Cannabis also helps with hundreds of illnesses.

His example of grass is not valid if he was talking about a monoecious grass species because each individual plant is both genders. However, there are dioecious grass species, as well. The phenomenon where male & female individuals of the same species have different traits is called sexual dimorphism.

Maybe your sources are correct and pot really is good for the body. However, it won't people's experience... As long as the homeless, the gangs, the criminals use pot, it will always be considered a brain killing drug, due to the people who smoke it. I have heard similar things about hemp, and one could argue to legalize this plant, but it's marijuana drug form should not be allowed other than for medical usage.

Marijunan is a recreational drug and should only be used in your own home. I for one smoke weed almost every night. During the day i am a full time college student and have a part time job where i am the manager. The fact is that after 6 years of regular pot use my life has remained the same, i still average in the 80's at school and am respected at work as a hard working employee. If you dont want to smoke weed then dont, if you rally against weed but use ciggarettes/alcohol your a hypocrite.
