  • No system of government can prevent an unvirtous and uneducated people from enslaving themselves.

  • How is it, good, nice, healthy, humane, or pragmatic to force people to buy insurance? To backup that force with a threat of violence (Obama admitted that he believes government to be a monopoly on the right to perpetrate violence)

You seem to have an unfathomable belief in Obama's goodness, when anyone not emotionally invested in him can see that all he can do is more of the same, or worse.

I wonder how a man with such insight into spirituality/atheism, can be so blind about politics.

  • this video still cracks me up everytime i watch it. Thanks again for making it :)

  • Individual responsibility much?

Why should I subsidize another persons lack of self respect with my meager earnings?

The avg american buys a new car every five years... 400 to 600$ a month in payments and insurance...for a "Phat ride"

and they bitch at a 400$ a month health-care premium is too much?

Perhaps their priority's are twisted just a bit.

Every person makes their own bed... and they pay for it.

  • LOL at the only way to fight corporate greed being cracking the reps. over the head with an oar.

    You rock Metabob!

  • Whahahaa! This is funny dude =P

  • That movie is awesome.

    What is it?

  • How can you say that the Democrats don't get money from corporations? Democrats are just as bad as Republicans. Think of the difference between Pepsi and Coke and apply it to the Democrats and Republicans.

I challenge you to look into the Campaign for Liberty movement to find real change.

  • So you say republicans are backed up by corporations, but you never mention that Obama is backed up by labor unions, the pharmaceutical industry, and has employed more lobbyists that any other president. Then you say that a huge segment of the "anti-Obama movement" is motivated by racism? Sensationalize much? I think when you look at the way this entire administration is running in a non emotional and logical way, you quickly realize that he is worse than Bush, maybe worse than Carter.

  • The republicans and democrats recieve huge bribes from the Corporations. The democrats recieve less bribes from this source but do recieve bribes from the unions.

One needs to question what those bribes are for? What are they after? And whether these agendas if acted out will be at the expense of the American people?

Until the system of bribery ("campaign donations") is stopped this is how politics will work I'm afraid. The whole voting thing is just a smoke screen.

  • That was a fantastic scene, I need to see this film!

  • I think Your time, Bob, is unfortunate. Yesterday I believe, Jimmy Carter came out saying that so many people oppose Barack Obama on this Health Care issue is due to racism... I don't understand this "this is white man's land" comment or why I'm a racist because I want the democrats to slow down and think about what they are doing.

If the reality is that Barack Obama will always win because those who fight for him fight dirty, then I suppose I have no hope here.

  • Sigh. Walther:

Obviously you don't have to be racist to oppose Obama's policies. At this point not only conservatives but most progressives oppose a big chunk of Obama's policies. (Though many, like me, torture themselves over the question of how much his apparent policies are actually tactical feints, which is what this video was about.)

But if you don't see that a huge segment of the "anti-Obama movement" is motivated by racism, you're being deliberately blind.

  • Barack Obama spent most of yesterday disagreeing with you about that. He and I are the same page in believing that although I'm sure there are some people motivated by racism, most of simply are not. If it were true, how on earth did he get elected? Do we then believe that these passionate racists sat on their during the election?

And exactly where is this "anti Obama movement"? Who's running it? Show me so we can all put them in their place.

  • Obama is right to downplay the part that racism plays in the opposition to his presidency. He's the president of all America, including the racists, and his job is to try to heal divisions, not highlight them. [more]

  • You say "although I'm sure there are some people motivated by racism, most simply are not. If it were true, how on earth did he get elected?" Walther... come on, are you serious? Obama got elected by the people who voted FOR him. Nowhere did I say that "most people" are motivated by racism. But if every single person who voted against him were a racist -- which I also did NOT say -- Obama would still have gotten elected by the rest of us.

  • Walther, you haven't made clear what your objections to Obama (or Democratic) policies are, but let's stipulate that they aren't motivated by racism.

But how can you ask "exactly where is this 'anti Obama movement'?" That makes it sound like you don't see it at all, which is mind-boggling. And when you ask "Who's running it?" *running* is the wrong term. It springs up naturally from, among other causes, racism. As for who's *exploiting* it: Roger Ailes, Dick Armey, lobbyists, on and on.

  • With all due respect, you were the one who made a video where the comment "this is white man's country" was made. And I am serious.

You said in your comment that a "a huge segment of the "anti-Obama movement" is motivated by racism", but my point is that if there really are that many rabidly racist people, I don't think Obama would have gotten elected.

As for these names, Roger Ailes, Dick Armey... I've heard of Dick Armey, but I don't know what he stands for. [more]

  • And Jimmy Carter didn't make the distinction that you just made, ie, "Lobbyists, on and on"... vague a distinction it is. Apparently, Jimmy Carter thinks that anyone who doesn't like over spending, trillion dollar deficits and over regulation is somehow racist. He throws the baby out with the bath water, it's ugly partisan politics and it's totally uncalled for.

  • tea baggers? birthers?

I'm willing to bet everything that I have that every member of the KKK is either a tea bagger, birther or both.

the whole birther thing was started by white supremacists who just cannot accept the fact that a black man was elected president

  • @normalais ad hominem much?

  • @lorax2013 yeah I learned it from the republicans. they've been doing that for as long as I can remember myself.

  • Barack Obama would be committing political suicide if he said the truth. Race has always been a no-no for him even during his campaign.

  • where were racists during the election? they voted for the republicans

  • LOL, darnit, I was taking your title too seriously, like you had some insight that he was going to win some or any of his "fights". Oh well. Great video. You roped me in with that title.

  • Actually the republicans are going to fight anything he proposes so yeah he has to become like Joan Crawford, or, well, instead, Faye Dunaway in MOMMY DEAREST, "Don't FUCK with me fellas! I've been around the rodeo :-)" Seriously.

  • I didn't get the ending...

  • Holy shit this movie is stupid.

    -I'm gonna download it ASAP.

  • Holy shit.

If yer gonna shove yer nose up Obama's ass, at least have the decency to warn us first.

  • brilliant seems like an understatement MetaBob. great work.

  • That's awesome.

  • Wicked stuff... the zooming was the best part.

  • I'm sorry what is up with those eyecatching depressing curtains in the way back? Rhetorical.(pft I don't feel like talking about President Obama at the mo') Continue enjoying your September you old slut.

  • "real americans want to be screwed by corporations, not government. That's why we seceded from Canada!" LOL

  • You only LOL'd cuz you're from another country. Here in America, those are simply two statements of fact. ;P

  • I LOLed!

  • My father in the US shares your view, but it is projection, YOU are the one standing your ground, YOU are the one with hope, YOU are the one who wants change, it's no Politician, but I enjoyed this tremendously in that light!

  • wait, what? You know his policies are pretty much the same as bush's, right?

  • MetaBob, you're awesome!

  • Republican's aren't self aware, their own hatred and irrational emotional outbursts aren't going to do them in, in the end, because that requires some modicum of intelligence.

  • Wonderful satire, Bob! "Use, the Force, Barack." Obama is smart, but it's hard to tell how much he will accomplish.

  • Is he a sleeper? Only time will tell, but there have been a few things that I would have seen differently in his term already, like, ending the wars...

  • Okay I'll find the boat

Bob do you have a samurai killing ore?

  • Hey old friend I'm glad to see you're back, stay in touch old friend

  • hey meta bob is back. geez its been a While

  • I LOVE this video. I am one of those who is still holding out hope ( not blindly, trust me)... but you captured the essence of why there are those of us that still believe in the way he's doing things. It can be very frustrating, but he's wiley and he's patient.... and I'll go over the top and say he's a GOOD MAN, who is honestly doing the best he can. I know, I'm a sap. Well done, Metabob!

  • I feel the same about Obama.

  • IOI_IOI

    WHAT!?

  • First, very well done video, very funny stuff.

Second, it would be nice if Obama did this -- a lot of people think he's being tactical and smart about everything, "no drama Obama", etc, but personally I can't believe how cowardly this administration seems to be.

I thought "Chicago-style" politics was supposed to be tough -- they're getting their asses kicked by "Southern-style" politics.

  • Metabob is pretty cool guy and doesn't afraid of anything.

  • Obama the ladyboy

  • classic vid.

  • So...yell angrily and carry a big stick? Are you saying the Obama doctrine is actually a variation of the Rooseveldt doctrine?

  • good stuff Bob , I want to see this Mushachi film now I read the book of five rings a long time ago.

  • What a fantastic piece. It is so nice having you back :D

    This totally made my day

  • excellent video

  • Perfectly done :O) ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • I though he was going to need to call on Mothra.

  • Very well done.

    Nice to see you back.

  • LOL **************

  • lol Samurai duel- excellent analogy.

  • Americans are so nice, they take turns in being disaffected so nobody feels left out all the time.

  • Now THOSE is some good ninja moves. LOL!

  • MetaBob, that was pretty fucking awesome; loved the subtitles. A+ and 5 stars, good sir.

  • Cool shito

  • BOO YA!!!

    LOL

  • this video is epic :)

  • Win!

  • yep. Enjoy the insight. I think that the tea partiers are up for a bad wake up call come next election. Remember how everyone thought Ron Paul had a chance. No wonder they have to doctor photos, and lie about how many people attended their rally. The scary part is their ready to take up arms and secede! ;) we'll see what they do after the next election cycle.

  • haha, this video has alot of truth to it. Especially the ending.

  • Obama is the man!!! He *is* the model of peace and civility.

  • lol

he's just using his secret muslim powers, it's fairly obvious to me and Rush.

  • Wow, MetaBob seems really political now.

  • yeppers... 5***** and favored...

    peace2U

  • can you tell me what movie this is from

  • "Miyamoto Musashi: Ganryû-jima no kettô" (1965). It's in the description.

  • 10/5
