@retsamgod psychobilly came after horror punk. Horror punk was started by the misfits and is characterized by Hardcore punk music stylings. While psychobilly is Horror punk in lyrics and style, but musically they are more reminiscent of rockabilly which is a mix of swing and rock.. Hope that helped : )
