apparently theirs a nasty antiscour lip down the bottom, but so long as u dont flip on the way down it would b pretty simple, just take a hell of a lot of balls!

Not sure of security situation but if you check the welsh equivelent of the bbc website you'll find an article saying the flow has been re-directed so it pumps from the base of the spillway and not the top. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but hate for anyone to have a wasted trip.

Unreal. Its absurd for the water board to say that emergency services will face risks helping kayakers that have got into difficulty there. Thats what the emergency servies train for, they fucking love it too.
