@JammerZice Yeah i think a lot of mainstream music has gone downhill but there are some great indie bands out there like Vampire Weekend and Freelance Whales
@JammerZice Punk in the nineties wasn't the worst in the world. But music from 2000 on has been, for the most part, shit. Sure, I can listen to Kesha or Lady Gaga, but they don't make me wanna get up and dance and sing along and be crazy and everything, like Joan Jett does.

I suggest you start at about 1955 and work your way up throught the Blues, R&B, Soul Rock & Roll, Pop Rock, Dance and new wave. Joan was a new wave punk rocker
