I really relate to this movie because of my condition. I have Asberger's Syndrome(Autism). For me, it has to with retaining short-term info. I was 8 when this movie came out. As the years went by, I understood it more and more! And, I finally realized I do relate to it.

when I first saw the movie it was placed in my ♥ from that moment, but when my son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2000 he was 8, all I could do was cry when I saw this movie and this song, & especially on the part of "Jack" graduating... Cause I just didn't know if my son would live to graduate... Last here he did, class of 2010, now Roy is 19 and working for his stepdad, and has been 7 years cancer free, Thank you GOD....

I heard this song on Jack just the other day & thought it was such a pretty song. Makes me think of my little boy Austin who is a Type 1 Diabetic, if he had 1 wish, it would be to find a cure for Diabetes. It's a struggle everyday, but he always makes the best of it & always has a smile on his face. Austin is one of the strongest people I know to have to deal with this disease. Love this song.
