San Diego, a truly nice city....if you can afford to live in one of the decent parts. If not, it is not so pleasant, you will have a hard time insulating yourself from the filthy aspects of this city. Downtown has some great areas, but, it also has a lot of areas filled with drugged out dirty bums crapping/urinating on the sidewalks. Neighborhoods south and east of downtown are pretty sketchy. North of town is your best bet if you only speak english.

HI Video is just ok... you are talking about downtown when you should be focusing on La Jolla ?? only.. Go into diners.restaurants in area ..entertainment its good to see it first hand..La Valencia dining area upstairs ..Dont talk about oldtown etc...only when you are in that area...too confusing.
Stict with the area your physically in...Thank you love dianexo
