I faintly remember a tv show Robert Reed did about a man getting a sex change. I guess it wasn't too much acting for him. I'm not suggesting homos are trans so don't brow beat me about the difference.
Point is considering the time and subject matter only a person in an alternantive lifestyle could have been sensitive to this role. He was responsible for making Brady Bunch more than a sit com. His insights steered the show away from being too campy.

I faintly remember a tv show Robert Reed did about a man getting a sex change. I guess it wasn't too much acting for him. I'm not suggesting homos are trans so don't brow beat me about the difference.

Point is considering the time and subject matter only a person in an alternantive lifestyle could have been sensitive to this role. He was responsible for making Brady Bunch more than a sit com. His insights steered the show away from being too campy.

I don't agree, there are many fine actors, both gay and straight who can play sensitive roles and I don't think his being gay made him better at it....but point taken,he did add some class tot he show...well...if not class he added professionalism

I think the 60's were the best how I wish I were alive in the 60's it was kind of a horrible time period but it would have been so amazing to have lived to see that and it was the best because of the beatles

The media has a way of brainwashing and sensationalizing, making us think the 60s and 70s were so bad when in fact they were too good! It is much worse nowadays, with government being too oppressive, people being ill-humored and shallow only thinking of money and power, yet people boast about riches and they all look like zombies and slobs with their eyes glued to some retarded little machine and acting like morons, is that what these assholes call "progression"?

A little late for this reply, but I was alive in the 60s and in many ways it was like today:
Soviet Union = Al Qaeda
Iraq/Afganistan = Vietnam, but we also had the draft back then.
Ed Sullivan = American Idol.
Same old political crap (that never changes).
Demonstrations where cops bash heads.
The only thing missing today is the great music like the Beatles. It seemed like I was always waiting for the next Beatle Album to be released. They were a great distraction from all the crap.
