i was on this roller coaster in Summer 2001 and October 2006. it was so awesome! I'm such a big fan of this ride. it just made me so happy and excited and made me wonder "Wow. This is such a fast roller coaster." 74 mph is fast! Like fo serious. i like roller coasters just as much as this one here. lol. :D

Its made by Intamin, and yes it does suck with the three helixes and that crazy long straigt piece between helix 2 and 3 it just makes it blah. Its actually the same company that made Superman at Six Flags New England, just without that lil bit of extra effort it takes to make a great coaster like the one at Six Flags New England.

I know. I love intamin. I think they're the best company with B@M next. Melenium forse is the best coaster ever. Superman is really good... But I don't think quite as godo as Melenium forse. I just want to know what they were thinking when they built this thing.

See I was with you till you said Millennium Force is the best. I would take Superman Ride of Steel in New England any day, but thas just me. In my opinion the layout and overall elements and effert put into the coaster make an over all better ride, and yes Intamin does ROCK. They just dropped the ball on this one. The reason its so crapy is prob. Six Flags fault the companies norm. design the coasters per order. Its just Six Flags orders like 6 of the same so they cut back on design and cost.

yeah, I think the 300 foot drop on melenium forse is so much more intense and exillerating than the 200 foot drop on superman. It gives the rest of the ride a lot more oomph than superman. And the beauty of lake eirie and the cedar point forest. I guess I am a little biased too, growing up on cedar point and living in northwest ohio. But I can live the rest of my life without going through that first painful helix in this ride.

Yeah MF drop is great but I found that to be about it the ride lacks a lil in character. like for instance the metal storm drain tunnels, layout is kinda week with all the overbank turns and lack of massive air. See with ROS in new england you get it all. Real tunnels with fog and lights, massive air-time hills, 1 overbank turn, 2 banked downward helixes. they both have great scenery. I am also bias I worked at SFNE in 99-00 seasons. I could live my whole life w/o this coaster again.

Its not a fact of not enjoying the coaster I enjoy them all, but it is what it is. The New England coaster overall has a better layout, the stats are the stats as well as its overall public opinion. Like I said I enjoy them all so dont get the wrong idea.

New Englands is 208 ft. tall with a 221 ft. drop and does 77 mph and this and Darien Lakes is 205 ft. at 74 mph so not much differance as speed goes

Yeah Intamin and Six Flags really drop the ball with this coaster. To make even worse the one @ Darien Lake is exactley the same they should of kept the concept for the one @ Six Flags New England now thats a coaster.
