I bought a reusable k cup with a snap lid, works great! Was also $3 cheaper. The shop where I buy my k Cups also has a recycling program. Works for me. :)
I had recently bought my Keurig coffee maker and I didn't get nothing extra with it to be able to use my bag of coffee:( but I actually saved a couple of the cups and kept looking at them thinking "There must be a way for me to use my own coffee in these cups!! and then was hoping someone would come up with something.Didn't know about the one that keurig sells either. I will buy one if I see it in Walgreen's or CVS;)
Stop preying on other peoples ideas & accomplishments. Design your own system instead of "pirating" patents. No wonder president Obama & others want federal patent laws enacted to help protect US companies from predatory practices....
This wasn't well thought out. If I like a certain blend of something that isn't sold in bulk outside of a k-cup... how would this help me? It wouldn't.
this is stupid. Don't bother...just buy a reusable insert that you can scoop your own coffee into. they make those...rather then some gross reusing shit
why would i want to keep reusing a plastic k cup when most kurigs come w/ a gold mesh filter which allows you to use ur own coffee & if its not free like mine was they are a hell of lot cheaper than 19.99
I'm not sure I understand how this works. I use the K-Cups at home. There is a hole that punches the top and the bottom of the cup. I clearly see how you snap the top lid on, but do you have to somehow seal the hole in the bottom to keep reusing it? Seems like the new grinds would come out the bottom hole when you pour them in.
@swampfoxer Each K-Cup has a filter inside of it that hangs above the bottom hole. The only thing that touches that bottom hole is your already brewed &filtered coffee. So if you have multiple holes in the bottom, the only thing that will happen will be the coffee going into your mug quicker. It in no way affects how long the water brews in the filter bag hanging above it. In fact you don't even need a bottom to your K-Cup & the coffee would still taste the same! Diagram tiny . cc/gsexk
@LabyrinthEnterprises Got it now, in the video however, the bottom of the k-saver isn't clear. Is it simply metal that you're pinching under the ledge of the k-cup or is it working some other way. My concern is if it's simply being pinched/bent then I have to wonder how long before metal fatigue. Just like when you bend a coat hanger over and over the metal finally breaks. Or am I missing something? They aren't inexpensive if they're not going to last. Thanks
@Stuffyou100 The K-Saver is actually made to clip onto the K-Cup just like a lid to a coffee cup at dunkin donuts. Snaps right on, you don't pinch or bend the K-Saver, if anything you just use your nail to push the plastic K-Cup edge into the K-Saver to snap it in.
keurig has a reusable filter though

why not buy and use the reusable filter that is made for the keurig? it's about the same price as this.

Tin foil works just as good and a hell of a lot cheaper than these caps.
Edbo11703 1 month ago
@Edbo11703 Tin foil leaks and takes more time to put on. And tin foil will be more expensive over time. The K-Saver will last a lifetime.

Coffee grinds are notorious for clogging sink drains. Other than that, nice demonstration video.
bryuko 2 months ago
@bryuko This was poured down a garbage disposal in the video, but that is great info for viewers using regular sink drains. Thanks!

@RcUniverseGuy I have both. They both work fine. Prices are about the same. I barely ever use either.
