i remember when it was around 03 i had a ps 1 from 1997 and i would run games like toca 2 touring cars and colin mcrae rally 1 and it WORKED!!!!! the only time it would not work was when in 05 i had a harry potter game and the disk itself was fucked..... guess my ps1 was the ONLY WORKING FUCKING THING BUILT!!!! I aslo had a ps2 WHICH LET ME DOWN!!!! it ot was around 024when i got it and i had it till 06 and the ps2 WOULDN'T READ THE DISKS!!!!!! so again the only NON working ps2! now coincidence?

I had no such problems with my ps1 whatsoever in fact my friend bought it when it was released then he played it for years then I bought it off him had it/played it for a few more years then I sold it to another friend because I moved country and I bet it still works.

The third one that I still own sucks. Not because of the system itself but because I actually bought two wireless controllers to avoid future damaging. I had an original PS1 also, not the white or trimmed down version, the original piece of shit. I also had RE1 and had the exact same problems. Sent the system to Sony and they "fixed" it for $70, and when I got it back it still didn't work.
