so before you say .. ohh ..yea.. hes a murdering fuck head who killed 9 people.. but hey... he has HUMAN RIGHTS
The death penalty is wrong putting another human to death for kiling another human then arent we basicly doing the same thing? the death penalty is hypocritical and not right
Whats the point in that anyway thousands of criminals are realesed every day from prison across the country. manyof the same people who were released end up back in hourse after their release so aparently prisons arent doing their job very well.
USA is considered a 3rd world compared to sophisticated countries that have abolished the death penalty. Human rights abuses, lack of freedom, civil rights denial is what USA is all about...hence why they are ranked #44 in the world in freedom. anyone got 3 airplanes? i heard that is all it takes to bring the weak, wimpy, whiney, lazy, cowardly americans to their fat knees. LMFAO
What "sophisticated countries" are you talking about? What brave sophisticated country do you call home? Who did the "freedom" rankings and which countries are the first 43? And tell me what constitutes bringing the USA to its knees? After Sept. 11, 2001, I'm thinking the USA should have turned the deserts of the middle into molten glass, and maybe in the process, your body would have been instantly incinerated and we wouldn't have been exposed to reading the nonsense that you posted.
what a liar and poseur...you call yourself a "prosecuter" meaning you actually expects us to believe you have a law degree and passed the bar. and yet, you make stupid, naive, inexperienced, silly and ignorant commentary as you have. furthermore, you are too stupid to even know how to get well documented information from the current medium, thanks to a european inventing the world wide web, you are using.go ahead and be blindly nationalistic and not look at things honestly and objectively.moron.
Nice hostile reply. I know I've won an argument when the other party resorts to name-calling. It would have been real helpful if you would have mentioned the source of your alleged facts -- such as "Freedom House rankings" or "Economist Intelligence Unit Index of Democracy". You need to re-check your statistics. Freedom House ranked the USA in the "most free" nations category, with the highest scores in political rights and civil rights. The F.H. list of most free nations was alphabetical.
Wow. I mean, just wow, are you really this blind and unobjective to see your hypocrisy? Liars and hypocrites are usually one and the same. I will stick the credible sources that have up to date data, thank you. To claim such a profession, you really are weak in the research department, kid. Poor nationalistic little sheep, conditioned to never question and take great hostility to anyone speaking the truth about your weak little nation. Wake up, the world despises America, hence why the EU rules.
@parsleysprigs because america epically failed in the world and now we are all carrying you pathetic, weak, lazy fat slobs because you arent strong or wealthy enough to survive
@JessOnTheRun I seriously don't get how you think your so special, you wouldn't be arguing with me if you were. I wish I could prove to you how retarded you are but you don't deserve to be informed.
1.) you are only 25 years old... you are naive, inexperienced in the world... you have no credibility...
2.) you easily resort to jr high comebacks, which means you havent the intelligence to debate... you are easily defeated
3.) you are chubby and bald, which means you are most likely bitter and angry with the amount of social rejection you get, women laughing at you and having no chance of getting laid.
I suggest you work on yourself a bit, Im way above you.
@JessOnTheRun Your cute, like I said I know things you wish you could know. How are you above me, do you know how to make 100 turn into 1500 in less than a month. Your the perfect example of why I hate humans, by the detail of your insults it sounds like your speaking more about your own experience.
@parsleysprigs muwhahahahahaha... you're getting even more absurd now with each passing comment... some 25 year old trying to run in the big dog league.... how adorable.
1. you know nothing, you arent special, you arent a complex person, quite easy to figure out.
2. "i hate humans" reveals quite a bit about how socially rejected you are and shows where your insecurity and bitterness comes... Im assuming you have been picked on a lot.
@JessOnTheRun looks like you lied. LMAO.... any journalist, media, financial or government agency that amasses statistics and figures would laugh you out the door if you told them you went to cia fact book (which has no affiliation with the actual central intelligence agency) -Im using the DEBKI index, which is what EVERYONE uses. You stupid american, we laugh at u
@JessOnTheRun you act like it's incredible for 17 1st world countries combined to be more prosperous than a single other one. maybe i should just congratulate you on finally catching up then?
congratulations! your european union is somewhat better than america! unless you live in france, with its wonderful muslim riots. or sweeden, with its wonderful muslim riots. or spain, which is a total shithole... which of those wonderful countries do you live in?
@BlackMasterRoshi i guess someone hasnt had the luxury and benefits of a good formal education that allows them an enriched life and good earning potential to at least afford to leave their rather meager, dilapacated community... awwwe, jealousy never sounded louder. Whine some more and reveal your insecurity. Small penis and fat gut isnt the only reason women laugh at you and you cant manage to get laid.
This Country is fucking sick. We're like a sick fucking farm animal crawling with maggotts and parasites. Look at that fat fuckstick, Mayberry RFD Warden. Look at him try 2 justify, in his sick, fat, greasy sothern way, that the last thing the condemned man will see or hear is HIS fat fucking face, and HIS castor oil voice. I'd like 2 see THAT fat fuk pull the switch a few times. Let's see how HE sleeps at night. U idiots who think this shit is justified, are in for a BIG suprise when U go
Light, umm, you do realize that these people committed crimes worthy of death and had due process in courts of law??? They are not innocent. I know the justice system is not flawless, but come on.
Since the emergence of new forensic technology (i.e. DNA matching), do you know how many people that we realized later were wrongfully put to death? dozens. of course our justice system works most of the times and we actually do put away the guilty, but is the death penalty worth it? I mean to say that the system works 99%, is that enough? what about the 1% that didn't deserve to die? c'mon, r u saying, "oh we've killed thousands of truly guilty people, so that ONE innocent person is okay"
No, I don't think the past errors of the justice system warrant the abolishment of the death penalty. One person is not "okay" -- no one on the pro-death-penalty side would take that position. The grievousness of such an error is why we now employ and develop techniques such as DNA matching as you yourself point out.
touche. but even so, innocent people are found guilty or vise versa (look at OJ!). Which goes to show us that we uphold a system that does not work all the time. i know, nothing is perfect. but the death penalty is an absolute resolution to punish someone. the foundation of this system which we employ to seal one's fate (our justice system) isn't absolute, so we shouldn't take absolute measures. the death penalty lets us practice more power than we've established/earned.
in order to justify something as final and absolute as the death penalty, well, we better have a PERFECT system to back that up. But we don't. when dealing with life, we can't afford to have the "oops" factor. but we do, even today with all the technology. I prefer the "for the sake of one, or the mere possibility of one, spare the rest" over the "for the sake of the rest, kill the one" mentality.
Sick, disgusting and primitive. If they every brought legal murder back to the UK I would get the hell out of this country.
That fat bastard actually enjoys his job. How can you kill a man for killing a man to prove killing is wrong? Nobody has the right to take a human life - yes, let them die in prison but lets not give them an easy way out and bring society down to the criminals sick level.
See the film and you will understand. The film will be available to the general public soon. On Wednesday, February 27th "Execution" will screen at UCLA.
Its like armchair warriors whos only experiance in war is the XBox,
When you take a human life, No matter what support systems got you to that place of a numb empty feeling, Its only after the sad emotions begin to eat away at you.
Each night when laying in bed, It flashes through your mind, When watching TV someone days your mind goes right there again,
Theres the drugs your going to need, and no matter what your priest pastor says,
So you served in a Operational theater..and killed someone..sighted,fired and New they died..which branch, unit...your MOD in which service..or are you speaking about somebody elses "actual" "Kill"..?????
In Canada a young kid was accused of the brutal rape and murder of Christine Jesop, Guypaul Moron was sentanced to life, Years later he was aquited of the crime on DNA evidence, In an American Capital Crime System he would have been exicuted, Better to commute to life 1000 prisoners then to exicute one man,
oh ya and by the way its spelled "obviously" not odviously and they got rid of the death penalty because canada has a fairly low crime rate compared to countries with the death penalty so it was deamed not needed. could be wrong but thats what i heard.
american crime rate is some of the highest in the world...americans, due to their 3rd world existence and poor poverty ridden culture, have many mental disturbance people.
No. In the American system he would have been on death row for about 25 years before he was executed. Appeal after appeal...State Court...Federal Court...back to State Court... then back to Federal Court. Somewhere along the line someone will find that his lawyer failed to object to questionable evidence or a judge will decide that the jury should have heard how the defendant, when he was 8 years old, got beaten by his stepfather. As a prosecutor, I can tell you America's system is a joke.
daveyjoeinbuffalo, I presume you are referring to the FAMILIES of the victims (seeing as the victims themselves are already at peace). One should consider that executions often cause family members additional distress at what they have witnessed, and in fact they DO NOT find peace of mind in retribution, but only complain that "death was too kind an act", much in the same way you just stated. Sometimes private reconciliation is the only possible way to repair the empty void in their souls.
Anti Death penalty advocates need to stop being a bunch of pussies. The scumbags on death row deserve far worse than a simple quick death. Stop coddling the condemned and start giving the victims of their crimes some peace of mind.
well i must say, you are compleetly wrong. and i will not say i am against the deathpenalty but these men will pay the ultimet price. and that is all we can take. and if we need to take a persons life we could best do that in a humain way(as far as that is possible.)
ABSOLUTELY NOT pie--If someone kilss someone, they should then die in the most HORRIBLE way imaginable--child molesters in Russia are rolled into a furnace feet first--that's too good for them!!
well if you need real exuction footage not of the death but of the room and procedure let me know i am a correctional officer in oklahoma i help with the deaths let me know i will give you an indepth tour
it's not a commercial. it's people who are talking about going to see the film "Execution". It's a movie...not anything else. this film has been see around the world at select screenings and has sparked some serious conversations about the entire death penalty issue. check out the film's website (execution film dot com)
Lame vid. Bunch of idiots talkin about how seeing a execution was 'disturbing'. They should have watched some vids of rapings, murders and robbery's. That might have provided a little balance to this film.
Is this a real execution? The bald prison warden guy seems like he is acting. I could be wrong be I would think if this footage were real there would be no way they could make a movie with it. I could be wrong.
If someone bruitally kills another person (your wife, husband or child), Yes I strongly believe that they should kill that fucken bastard or bitch. Even give him/her a much slower painful fucken death so they remember not to do that in their next life...
The condemned man in the video is WILLIAM NEAL MOORE. He lived on death row in Georgia for 16 years before his sentence was commuted to life in prison. He has since been paroled, gotten married and started a ministry to help other convicted felons.
what you are seeing is a shot from the filmmakers of the execution rehersal. there are no color cameras in the death chamber when the prisoner was executed. go to the film's website to see more.
The answer to your question is answered in the film. The film will screen at the University of North Carolina on October 20th and at the University of Oregon on November 8th.
The film is screening on Friday, September 7th in Rome, Georgia at the Rome International Film Festival and on Saturday, September 8th in Los Angeles, CA in Universal Studios City Walk at the Moondance International Film Festival. Check the "Execution" website (execution film dot com) for more information.
Given the height of the camera angle there is no way this is really hidden. Not to mention how it focuses and zooms in and out. Those reactionds from the audience look fake too.
When you see the film you will actually be in the witness room in the death chamber. No other film puts you as close to an actual execution as this film.
I'm skeptical of one part of the clip here, the bit where the warden describes to the prisoner, apparently in detail, what's about to happen. I've heard a number of death chamber recordings (which are available on some websites; they contain last statements, etc) and I don't recall anyone being given this sort of speech.
The Warden is real and what he said in the death chamber that night is completely authentic. This man has executed 4 men in his career and is also a best selling author.
Yes Mr. Moore was acquitted. He's the only man in America to be acquitted for a muder he was convicted of and admitted to. He is a free man because of the forgiveness of his victim's family. The film "Execution" is an amazing movie that puts the audience on the front row of an excution and let's them decide for themselves if this is what we should be doing in America today.
You need to see the film to decide for yourself which parts of the film are real. If you go to the film's website "Execution Film Dot Com" you can see more video clips, pictures and make sure you check out the comments.
I was also in the audience that night at Tulane. It's a film that definately got the attention of a lot of people. It's obvious by the comments on the film's website. Hundreds of people came out to see this film at Tulane because students are curious to see things that they are not supposed to see. Great film!
The producers of the film will not discuss at this time which parts of the film are real becuase they are in the process of finding distribution for the film. Maybe you could go to the film's website and post a comment there. It may also help to get others who are interested to post comments too. If you look at the Tulane reaction video clip you can tell that a lot of people are interested in this film. There were over 700 in the audience last month when it screened on Tulane's campus.

The death penalty is wrong putting another human to death for kiling another human then arent we basicly doing the same thing? the death penalty is hypocritical and not right
GMshugs 3 years ago 3
Right, so odviously we can not jail abductors/kidnappers!
TheBigGameHunter1 3 years ago

LMFAO
JessOnTheRun 3 years ago 2

JessOnTheRun 3 years ago
Nice hostile reply. I know I've won an argument when the other party resorts to name-calling. It would have been real helpful if you would have mentioned the source of your alleged facts -- such as "Freedom House rankings" or "Economist Intelligence Unit Index of Democracy". You need to re-check your statistics. Freedom House ranked the USA in the "most free" nations category, with the highest scores in political rights and civil rights. The F.H. list of most free nations was alphabetical.
deltadoug69 3 years ago
Wake up, the world despises America, hence why the EU rules.

lightbringerrr 3 years ago 2
Light, umm, you do realize that these people committed crimes worthy of death and had due process in courts of law??? They are not innocent. I know the justice system is not flawless, but come on.
GraceGuitars 3 years ago
Since the emergence of new forensic technology (i.e. DNA matching), do you know how many people that we realized later were wrongfully put to death? dozens. of course our justice system works most of the times and we actually do put away the guilty, but is the death penalty worth it? I mean to say that the system works 99%, is that enough? what about the 1% that didn't deserve to die? c'mon, r u saying, "oh we've killed thousands of truly guilty people, so that ONE innocent person is okay"
nehepyunji 3 years ago 2
No, I don't think the past errors of the justice system warrant the abolishment of the death penalty. One person is not "okay" -- no one on the pro-death-penalty side would take that position. The grievousness of such an error is why we now employ and develop techniques such as DNA matching as you yourself point out.
GraceGuitars 3 years ago
touche. but even so, innocent people are found guilty or vise versa (look at OJ!). Which goes to show us that we uphold a system that does not work all the time. i know, nothing is perfect. but the death penalty is an absolute resolution to punish someone. the foundation of this system which we employ to seal one's fate (our justice system) isn't absolute, so we shouldn't take absolute measures. the death penalty lets us practice more power than we've established/earned.
nehepyunji 3 years ago 2
in order to justify something as final and absolute as the death penalty, well, we better have a PERFECT system to back that up. But we don't. when dealing with life, we can't afford to have the "oops" factor. but we do, even today with all the technology. I prefer the "for the sake of one, or the mere possibility of one, spare the rest" over the "for the sake of the rest, kill the one" mentality.
nehepyunji 3 years ago
Sick, disgusting and primitive. If they every brought legal murder back to the UK I would get the hell out of this country.
That fat bastard actually enjoys his job. How can you kill a man for killing a man to prove killing is wrong? Nobody has the right to take a human life - yes, let them die in prison but lets not give them an easy way out and bring society down to the criminals sick level.

In Canada a young kid was accused of the brutal rape and murder of Christine Jesop, Guypaul Moron was sentanced to life, Years later he was aquited of the crime on DNA evidence, In an American Capital Crime System he would have been exicuted, Better to commute to life 1000 prisoners then to exicute one man,
cycimian 3 years ago
Umm when did canada get rid of its death penalty?
TheBigGameHunter1 3 years ago
oh ya and by the way its spelled "obviously" not odviously and they got rid of the death penalty because canada has a fairly low crime rate compared to countries with the death penalty so it was deamed not needed. could be wrong but thats what i heard.
GMshugs 3 years ago
american crime rate is some of the highest in the world...americans, due to their 3rd world existence and poor poverty ridden culture, have many mental disturbance people.
JessOnTheRun 3 years ago
As a prosecutor, I can tell you America's system is a joke.
deltadoug69 3 years ago
daveyjoeinbuffalo, I presume you are referring to the FAMILIES of the victims (seeing as the victims themselves are already at peace).

Stop coddling the condemned and start giving the victims of their crimes some peace of mind.
daveyjoeinbuffalo 4 years ago
well i must say, you are compleetly wrong. and i will not say i am against the deathpenalty but these men will pay the ultimet price. and that is all we can take. and if we need to take a persons life we could best do that in a humain way(as far as that is possible.)

PoeticMadness 4 years ago
The condemned man in the video is WILLIAM NEAL MOORE. He lived on death row in Georgia for 16 years before his sentence was commuted to life in prison. He has since been paroled, gotten married and started a ministry to help other convicted felons.
ryanlee747 4 years ago
So now there is a color camera on the condemned man small enough that the guards don't notice it? This is clearly fake.
mst3k4evur 4 years ago
Your facts are clearly wrong. There is no color camera in the death chamber the night of the execution.
GRPictures 4 years ago
2:35-2:40 the warden is talking to the 'condemned man' and its in color.
mst3k4evur 4 years ago
what you are seeing is a shot from the filmmakers of the execution rehersal. there are no color cameras in the death chamber when the prisoner was executed. go to the film's website to see more.
GRPictures 4 years ago
was the REAL execution actually filmed at all?
honestly, I don't think I could really watch an execution, again.
I watched Saddam Hussein get hanged, on YouTube, and I regretted it. I felt sick. I feel sick.

The answer to your question is answered in the film. The film will screen at the University of North Carolina on October 20th and at the University of Oregon on November 8th.
GRPictures 4 years ago
When will it screen in Australia?
Regardless of my feelings, I will still watch the film.
petejt 4 years ago
so you mean that the actual execution scene is presented in black and white?
why weren't there colour cameras in the execution chamber?
petejt 4 years ago
That is the footage from the execution rehersal. That footage was shot with the approval of the prison and not with surveillence cameras.
GRPictures 4 years ago
Why not?
petejt 4 years ago
The film is screening on Friday, September 7th in Rome, Georgia at the Rome International Film Festival and on Saturday, September 8th in Los Angeles, CA in Universal Studios City Walk at the Moondance International Film Festival. Check the "Execution" website (execution film dot com) for more information.

Given the height of the camera angle there is no way this is really hidden. Not to mention how it focuses and zooms in and out. Those reactionds from the audience look fake too.

what execution i did not see the man die
queenfan07 4 years ago
When you see the film you will actually be in the witness room in the death chamber. No other film puts you as close to an actual execution as this film.
GRPictures 4 years ago
I'm skeptical of one part of the clip here, the bit where the warden describes to the prisoner, apparently in detail, what's about to happen. I've heard a number of death chamber recordings (which are available on some websites; they contain last statements, etc) and I don't recall anyone being given this sort of speech.
saskabush2006 4 years ago
The Warden is real and what he said in the death chamber that night is completely authentic. This man has executed 4 men in his career and is also a best selling author.
GRPictures 4 years ago
GRPictures 4 years ago
William Neal Moore and Donald Cabana are very real. Just go to Google and check them out.
