My gosh! This is so frustrating. Regardless of his actions, this whole SOPA thing really burns my biscuits! I don't see anyone suffering from what he did. Actors are still rich, artists are still rich, the production companies still drive their brand new Mercedes to work on the daily, and they still eat at the end of the day. WTH do they want with him?!
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." Time has come 4 us to unite.
this shows how the world likes to roll now a days, so you earned billions in profit by making a mutibillionare credit bubble fraud and left in proverty millions of people your company is broke and the people who where already fucked by them now have to pay for them to regain the money they already stole and leave without charges, but a guy who shares copyrighted material and earned money in ads who helped more people than actually harming it is going to jail for 5 years GAWD SAVE AMWERICA!
Why are they not more outraged?!!! This must be a fake video. If it were true, it would be so outrageous to prosecute a guy for sharing, rather than those fat cats out there rolling up the forests of the earth for a few years of profit. That is a crime to future generations, they are endangering zillions of lives. And they walk free and easy. What is that about?!!!
He should be held accountable since some one was making money off of these copyrighted shows. According to, Reuters Edition U.S. ,Richard O'Dwyer's "sold $230,000 worth of advertising on the site, according to U.S. authorities." Everyone involved needs to be healed accountable. But since at least part of the crime took place in the UK, Richard O'Dwyer should be tired there under the laws of the UK.
@Indigo42Kitsune Except it not illegal in the UK, therfore it cannot be a crime, and no case could be heard.
Regardless of what he made on advertising, he did not download or distribute any material, he only showed people where copyright material can be found, just the exact same way any search engine such as google do.
This american law is stupid, it will not stop here, next it will be youtube and other sites to go, or turned into a pay site.
@Indigo42Kitsune how about getting CBS and Microsoft and other corporations to justice, they distributed torrents and other pirated websites on their own sites... SOPA , ACTA and PIPA Sucks.
Why is that Magistrates get to decide wether he is extradited? Magistrates are cunts, who volunteer to be judges because they're lonely fuckers who aren't good enough to be proper judges. A jury should decide, it seems like the public are the only people with any common sense.
British Citizens have NEVER pledged allegiance to their laws and this guy should never leave British soil. U.S Google staff should in this case be banged up by our Crown Prosecution for having links to illegal BBC content and music by British artists. get em over ere...
This is scary, not just for this poor guy but for us all...the justice system sucks, couldn't he claim refuge somewhere, people claim refuge here all the time...this country should be his sanctuary, he didnt commit a crime here and he was on this soil when he did what he did...our rights abused yet again, like they are doing away with because of so called terrorists, we know who the REAL terrorists are, and it isnt the muslims.
Cameron has bowed down to Obama too much, to take someone from their own country and trial them is disgusting,BUT then again when it comes to arresting the war criminals this Law could prove pretty cool for the people then were free all of our prisoners that have been banged up for petty crimes and put the real criminals in their places.Hows that sound ;)
@REXER1977 my thoughts exactly...showing us, we should get used to these things happening, like when they brought the EU law out that extradited Brits to EU countries to be tried under their laws...nwo has no bounds, the world is an unfair justice system to be abused, if they cant get us for a crime here, they will take us somewhere it is a crime and try us there.
@madzndean I will say this tho even in war times the law and justice do exist, if we are in 'war time' surely these now would constitute as 'war crimes' would they not? and if the courts dont acknowledge this then surely that would would mean this also?and if we are taking our country back (judicial systems included) who are we taking it back from? the enemy?and who is that then?! we see the heads of the beast emurging now - but lets be positive they want to suck on your fear dont encourage em!
his family CANNOT allow him to go for many reasons, 2 of the most important would be that he is in very serious trouble if they get their hands on him and might not return..
another paramount reason would be THAT WE CAN'T COMPLY WITH THIS NONSENSE, FIGHT PEOPLE!!

er... find me ONE nation in the 1st world that doesn't dictates its rules to others. If this is glaringly obvious to you today then I am sorry you have been raised in wool. We use two tactics to get what we want. Looting and bribery .And if it doesn't work its bullying. For every democracy there are at least 3 dictatorships.every country with oil is a dictatorship. Now guess where the oil's been shipped all this time.Americans are not baddies.they are doing what everyone else is doing.
