@dss103 No doubt. They JUST got the franchise right again with 9 & 10 and re-captured the retro, 8-bit coolness. Universe was just a bunch of silly (relatively speaking), bullshit crammed in a sandbox-style game and they knew it. People would have played it 8 or so times to get all the body parts and guys and then one more time to play as their stupid made-up guy, then they'd forget it. It MIGHT have been cool if they released it 10 years ago...Be glad we got 9 & 10 and pray for an 11 or new X.

Keiji Inafune's original design for Megaman X was Zero, but they advised to keep the color of Megaman to Blue because that's how the fans will connect to a familiar face/color. Zero is still a Megaman, he SHOULD be included in this game, alongside X. That's MY version of Megaman, as everyone has their version, which is what this game is built upon.

tbh the battle network series was the best for me, it didnt have the best "graphics" at the time, but it had the best story line I believe, plus it spanned over 10 games, I say over 10 because some of the sequels sold 2 different games with 2 different stories, like cyber beast gregar and falzar, which ended the series with a dramatic ending, even though you learned in the very first game megaman was actually the brother of the hero :P
