umm, that's not a claymore, that's just a bomb, claymores explode directionally and will only shoot pellets directly in front of the mine's facing.

you need a battery like a 9v one to set the maroon off then you wait put the wires to the battery conacts and BOOM! we did make a trip mine one too with a cloths peg and tin foil

yes and no. you can reuse the socket back box and the wire but you have to replace the other stuff.
