Supply side econ moves the costs to us at the bottom. Bush has done this every year since he's gotten in office. Are you better off now than 9yrs ago? Probably not. Instead of trickling the money down to hire more employees, enhance benefits pkgs and lower product prices, the companies CEOs, officers, etc just bought more stuff, had more parties, took more vacations and gave the workers more hours and less pay. BASIC Macro Economics:
Supply side econ moves the costs to us at the bottom. Bush has done this every year since he's gotten in office. Are you better off now than 9yrs ago? Probably not. Instead of trickling the money down to hire more employees, enhance benefits pkgs and lower product prices, the companies CEOs, officers, etc just bought more stuff, had more parties, took more vacations and gave the workers more hours and less pay. Bottom up always works out better for us the workers.

(the top 1% income makers make 17% of the countries income, adding up to be 33% of the countries taxes) And you think thats unfair? Also, this man is all about government. Previously when Bush & Algore had proved as rivals of equal strength in the elections & again a debate competition had started the US stock markets were on a crash & the $ on collapse. The same state seems to be rising once again. But now it seems to be rising before the elections. How will the economy survive if this situation of doubt continues. Unless clear policies of developing the US economy taking positive steps is given its difficult for the US economy to be handled by the new president.

No it's not racist.I am white and I truely believe that Obama is the way to go. Reason why is because he makes more sense and he also cares about this country way more than McDinosaur. Bush of Republican Party is at his best to have McCain succeed in the coming elections. Barack Obama of Democrat party is already ahead as regards convincing. But the irony is that Pakistan is being made the test lab for this purpose. Still I think that a follower is better than a hypocrite from who you don't know what to expect. I think, even though I'm European, that it's all about integrity no matter if you're follower or leader. To me Palin has showed she's not reliable. Another example is Clinton. How can you trust a person who changes his morals as it suits him? Who lies? Same with Palin. Obama is at least honest and maybe better late than never.

It's sad that I even have to defect from my own FUCKING PARTY just so I can get off the special ED SHORT BUS! Bad enough Bush couldn't even speak proper English. Obama`s tax plan lowers taxes for ~95% of americans and increases taxes for only the highest earners in the U.S.. As opposed to McCain`s plan which will only cut taxes for business and the wealthiest 1-10%

this statemeny has no validity. Presidents have nothing to do with the economy. Its the gov control on the market that creates a roller coaster economy. its loose money that causes inflation which results in periods of easy money followed by periods of tight money.

I beg to differ. IF you think that Bush's trillion dollar commitment to "investing" in the War in Iraq doesn't effect the economy then u need ur head checked.
McCain doesn't see a fiscal problem with financing never ending war whereas Obama realizes how irresponsible it is to spend money so inefficiently and without real benefit.

Obama is only proposing slight tax increases for the VERY wealthy--those making a MINIMUM of $250,000 a year & up. Those making less than $150,000/yr will see tax CUTS. You shouldn't be paying "a LOT" in taxes unless you don't own a home; if you vote for McCain you won't own a home for several years because he believes in Bush's economic policies. Obama plans to turn around the economy so you won't need to worry!

The reason why the rich are taxed more is because they rely more on a maintained middle class civilization.
Trickle down economics is never going to work. Company's make money from customers. No company is going to hire more workers without more customers. It would go against there economic principles to hire workers without customers.
The middle class are customers. They buy the products which in turn cycles itself by creating more jobs.

i've seen barrack talking about his tax plan, which includes rolling back tax cuts on the rich. which also means rolling back Bush tax cuts on captial gains and dividends. I earn dividends and i earn capital gains. I don't need these tax increases. I earned everything I own I should not be punished for working hard, saving and then investing.
