Yeah, I like these games but they're too japan-centric. I wish they'd regionalize the game to focus on cars people actually drive or grew up with in our part of the world. An 80's IROC-Z camaro, late 70's Firebird, Beretta, LeBaron, Daytona, Monte Carlo, 80's Mustangs, TBirds, Grand Prix, Dakota RT/10, '79 "lil red truck", Police-spec Crown Vics and Caprices, I could go on...
Instead the disc is filled with countless obscure Japanese exotics.
I'm all for variety, more European imports would be fine too. I just want to see more cars we actually drive over here, including the heavier, cheaper ones which some people may be bigoted against but many people love and/or grew up with. As it stands, many of the inexpensive cars in GT are Japanese econoboxes which were never even shipped over here. Those are prime candidates to be regionalized out of the north american version, and replaced with something more relevant to our culture.
Why program in anything less than 100hp anyway?? The matching AI *always* sets the race impossibly against you unless your Panda or CRX is insanely tuned and you can't tune them without credits from races, AND since you can't finish better than 3rd or 4th on the easy courses, you'll be nickle-and-diming it for hours on the same 3 tracks.

@ShadoVRaven1337 GT 5 IS SHIT MATE forza 3 wipes the floor with it and im not being a fanboy as i have got an xbox as well as ps3 GT5 trying to do too much and everything feels not finished damage is shit loading times go on forever and most of the cars look the same as gt 4 graphics not a happy bunny
@MERCENARYVII gt5 does have damage you unlock at lvl 40 and it loads slow WHEN ITS INSTALLING IT, and gt4 graphics on standard cars are better than forzas i mean even gt4 for ps2 can compete w/ forza 2 and 3 DESPITE PS2's HARDWARE CAPABILITIES, look at forza, the tracks look like ur floating on them and the cockpit looks like plastic
i think the game looks good BUT at first i fort it was playstaion 2 graphics and it doesnt beat forza for 2 reasons graphics and u can do loads more to ur car on forza motorsport2 lol

The red/silver one at the beginning is the MOTUL PITWORK Z (JGTC) '04. The yellow/orance/etc. one is the OPTION Stream Z '04.

Trucks: Chevrolet SSR '03, Chevrolet Silverado SST Concept '02, Dodge Ram 1500 LARAME Hemi Quad Cab '04, Ford SVT F-150 Lightning '03, Toyota Tacoma X-Runner '04, Daihatsu Midget '63
SUVs: Land Rover Range Stormer Concept '04, '85 and '03 Rally Raid Pajero, Toyota RSC '01 and also its rally version.
There might be more but I can't recall them at the moment...

I myself would want more focus on euro cars like Alfa romeos, Mercedes, BMW, Euro-ford and VW...

I was dissapointed with GT 4, I preffered the driving feel on GT A-Spec. I think they went low budget on GT 4.
