I watched it, the graphics are amazing. It is still a kids's movie, but a good replication on 3-D of the Apollo 11 mission. The story line about the Russian flies sabotaging the mission is silly, but the end is even better. A real life Astronaut denies that flies make the trip while close ups of the mission photos place them there. a funny joke within the movie at the end. The images of the moon and Earth are amazing, is the first animated film for 3-D, better movies will come along later on.

what age would you say this film is ok for? my little nephew is 3 do you think the 3d might scare him a bit?

Is not as heavy action based as Journey to the Center of the Earth, which is very scary at times. Fly Me To The Moon is meant to be for younger kids and should be fine, but older children will enjoy it better because they will have a greater understanding of the mechanics of space flight. I do not think that it is in theaters anymore, at least in most markets. But there are probably somec showings and in IMAX. The DVD probably will include a 3-D version as well.

It mostly looks aimed for kids. If anyone like alanabbe wants to see it fine that's your choice but I think I'd rather skip it.
