clear sky sucked because it almost had no horror. it had less horror than shadow of chernobyl atleast. i hope call of pripyat will bring the good old horror back PLUS free play!

I love the stalker series the games were very buggy and did crash but, thats why they make patches i cant wait for the new one cuz im getting tired of beating clear sky and shadow of chernobyl over and over. this must be my all time fav game next to command and conquer red alert which i cant play any more cuz my computer is too new... I've never played the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games but I got a feeling that this game plays alot like FarCry 2 and Fallout 3. Someone tell me if I'm right or not

i HATE the floating info-popup-window on items in the inventory. it better has a fixed position, so you can COMPARE the items (e.g. values of the weapons)...like in first STALKER game...this was perfect. please take this SERIOUS !

Look at the goddamned game scripts.... you didn't get a crash because you didn't trigger one in the game. The game crashes because of scripting errors.

no, the games were very well known for their bugs. its just the nature of the PC as a platform that some systems will have trouble while others will be fine.

i never had too many bad bugs in either game, but i know many people did.

that guy could have had a faster system than you, but it would make no difference if the game didnt like something that was in his system. i have had almost the exact same system as my friend, and he can run games that crash on mine and vice versa.

i know what youre saying, but the game WAS notoriously buggy on release. it took a while to fix SoC, and clear sky is still a bit buggy.

there are secondary quests that stil wont work for me, even after all the patches.

when a game has a patch released on the same day the game is available in the shops, you know it has problems. clear sky, gta4, tom clancys hawx, all had patches on release day (or within a day or 2), and were all very buggy.

i LOVED stalker, but its the nature of pc gaming

i never had too many bugs in stalker, but had a few (not gamestopping really) in clear sky, but i do know that most people had a lot of trouble with them both. and clear sky still isnt fixed properly. i have still got secondary quests that wont finish because my backup wont turn up when i take an area, or there is no-one there when i am supposed to clear an area.

stalker SoC did crash if i got stuck in all those phantom dogs in red forest though, but thats all the bugs i found

They don`t need to make new models for every game. For example Half-life 2 didn`t change any weapon models or animations although there are already 3 games out. I think that weapons looked very good in Clear sky, but i agree that character models should be improved.
