The first delivery is a googly not a Leg break and the second delivery is a leg break and not a googly. The third delivery was just another leg break, not an off spinner and the final delivery deserved to go for 6.

This video is utter rubbish and completely WRONG. Firstly Lara is seemingly bowling Left Arm Orthodox, which if is the case the first ball isn't a leg break, it's just simple left arm spin. Now if he happens to be bowling like Brad Hogg would as a left arm wrist spinner, then the leg break would spin to the right, and the googly to the left, you CRETIN!

There is no way orthodox left arm spinners outnumber offies 9:1. Also, if the reason there are few chinaman bowlers is the ball turning into the batsman being less dangerous than turning away, you cannot account for the huge number of off spinners in the game

For a left arm leg spinner (Chinaman) the leg break and the googly turn in opposite directions to a right arm leg spinner. That's why you don't see a lot of Chinaman bowlers.

No, the reason why you see very few chinaman bowlers is because over the wrist spinners are not common in the first place, and left handed people are less common than right handed, therefore it is quite a small group who are in both categories

In general, balls which turn away from a batsman are considered more dangerous. Leg spinners are usually harder for a right handed batsman to play because their stock ball turns away from the batsman (and turns more sharply than an offspinners).

well, not really. If you look at right handed people vs left as a proportion of the population, it's about 9:1. Left arm orthodox(finger spinners) are not outnumbered by right arm offspinners 9:1 (in professional cricket at least). However left arm chinamen are outnumbered by leg spinners by more than 9:1 (the only current international Chinaman bowler I can think of is Brad Hogg of Australia.) It's more to do with the direction in which the stock ball turns.

Also, as a majority of deliveries are delivered over the wicket, the patches of rough which leg spinners and left arm orthodox bowlers aim for later on in a longer game are usually bigger and more developed than the ones which chinamen and offspinners would generally aim for. It's more to do with the mechanics and conditions of cricket than with left/right handedness.
