When you tell a kid something NOT to do like at 1:19 "dont do it like this or youll drop it" instead should say only hit it soft so you can hold on to it. the image of hitting too hard and dropping it has been created in their mind and bingo some of them drop their drum. Its like saying "dont think of a red elephant" their minds dont process negative commands like "dont" actions. Its tough but follow up with what you want them "TO do" i.e.- "DO THIS". avoid saying what you dont want.
