Good old 1988. lol Truth is, ya FSU talked a bunch of trash before the first game of the season with Miami...then they lost 31-0 to them. But they regained focus, and won every single game after that to finish the season 11-1. FSU didn't win the title that year, but neither did Miami. What's ironic is FSU beat Miami in '89 and UM won that year..and even more ironic, they beat UF in '96, played them again with several starters out with the flu, and lost in the title.
