  • 137 people who rock...and one wanker.

  • brilliant

  • Definitely their most mainstream album, half of it almost sounds like ELO.

  • @jirdimaster i like more the dark side of the moon, but this album is a masterpiece

  • @ac39469 *Removed*

  • This is by far the most underrated song on The Wall. It is the climax of all the entire story, the guitars, drums, and vocals are all top notch, and I always feel there is a mob outside my window whenever it plays. I'd say this is one of my favorite Floyd songs ever, but I don't think liking songs about Nazis and racism would win me many friends! :p

    Floyd forever

  • @66hourenergy

I agree with you: this is a great song, specially when put into Pinky's context story. That's what I think it's the most beautiful about the song: outside its context it sounds like a nazi/racist song. But in its correct context its very strong statement AGAINST it. As you said it's the climax of the story when Pink is completely mad. He is not a victim - The Trail shows this - he uses the "queer, coons, red and jews" as scapegoats for his own failures.

    Regards from Brazil...

  • This is the most complete track of the entire "Wall" album. Just perfect singing, arrangement and structure.

  • @ThePinkFloydPortal Ain't that the truth!! PF forever!!

  • @ThePinkFloydPortal Agree with you, but improve your grammar.

  • amazing pink floyd song

  • One person had their windows and doors smashed and kicked in.

  • i find it hard to listen to this and not sing along with glee at the politically incorrect lyrics, although obviously they are satirical!

    i am evil?!

  • @GriefTourist

God no, it's satire in a way. You may hate it bu there is a band called Laibach from somewhere in Eastern Europe who get called Nazi's for the way they dress and the way they play their music. But they cover Queen and Pink Floyd songs. It's one huge piss take in that way.

I get to see Roger Waters playing the Wall tonight in Dublin, can't wait.

  • @trollfinger

I saw him in Manchester on Friday, it's a fucking brilliant show

  • to put on a black shirt

  • 81 likes and 1 accident.

  • HAMMER!

  • @machinimafan27 Yeah. Hammer Time.

  • <3

  • In the movie, they replace a 30 second long song with a probably longer (childish snigger) scream of STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPPP with a mr bob geldof's eyes bulging. i prefer the movie's version.

  • WaItInG!!

  • I LOVE how Gilmours voice and Waters voices contrasts each other.

  • "Good morning The Woem your honour" :-)

  • @daviniaosgood worm* your honor

  • @machinimafan27 Hahaha I did realise I'd hit the 'e' instead of the 'r' and I'm British so I spell honour like this, but thanks anyway ;-)

  • @machinimafan27 Thanks Joe, nice to meet you too! I'm Davinia

  • @daviniaosgood cool. lol

  • no dislikes...rare for a youtube clip with over 15,000 views...

  • wouldnt you like to see our colored cousin sent home again yes i would and then build a german style wall that no coon or any person of color can cross shoot on site

  • @brautigan1

    @riley2315

It's not about any of those things. It's about the hatred inside of us all that comes from isolating ourselves from others and not allowing ourselves to feel emotions. It's all these feelings we keep from others that turn into the monster this song portrays.

  • would u like to see.....

  • its the queens and the coons and the reds and the jews

  • einssss zweiiiii dreiiiiii vieeeer :D its so fuckin gooood

  • is this song about the holocaust or something

  • It's about where America is heading lol

  • @brautigan1 So true.

  • @riley2315 Waters father dies when he was a boy during WWII, he grew up with his overprotective, narcissistic mother (hence the song "Mother") and the only solace he had was music. The experience of the war, growing up fatherless left Waters with deep insecurities and the Wall was a project of dealing with those repressed feelings. So WWII + repressed feelings found their expression in a view of his inner life as a tormented totalitarian world where he didn't allow himself to feel.

  • My brains just got blown out.

  • its:wating to cut out the deadwood, wating to clean out the city, waiting to follow the worms!, waiting to put on a blackshirt, wating to weed out the weeklings, waiting to smash in their windows and kick in their doors, wating for the final solution to strenghten the strain, waiting to follow the worms, waiting to clean out the showers and fire the ovens, waiting for the queers and the coors and the reds and jews! waiting to follow the worms!!!!

  • @apenberg1 "weed out the weaklings" "turn on the showers"

  • @ogphill

forgot "and fire the ovens" but w.e

  • It's weed out the "wicked" I believe =)

  • Monty Python was one person, although made up by several human beings. Just like Pink Floyd.

  • Which ones Monty? :D

  • roll a fatty ..and blaze away

  • if anyone here knows all the lyrics to the second half of the speech that the the guy with the microphone has, tell me then i will be quite happy!

  • Comment removed

  • Monty Python makes these Pink Floyd songs great you dumb shit. Also Monty Python is not a person. It is the name of the show with a group of people.

  • The band were actually big fans of Monty Python and his work. Peculiar comment there Unitronus

  • @OmegaFloyd their work.

  • @OmegaFloyd I'm sorry .. his? Who is he?

  • @OmegaFloyd their work* :P

  • @OmegaFloyd His work?

  • @OmegaFloyd His work?

Speaking of Pink Floyd, you just reminded me of a lyric.

"The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think,

Oh by the way, which one is Pink?"

  • Who the hell is this "nicesunset778" bitch that keeps babbling nonsense??? This has nothing to do with pink floyd at all.

  • 88!!!!

  • These guys remind me Monty Python somehow.

    Don't ask me why.

  • I think the same thing.......ALL the time. Monty Python was the Floyds favorite show by the way lol

  • @Unitronus you're right. you bastard. damn, and i've always found MP to be lame(except some excerpts). onward we go....

  • @pectinmania ..... Your welcomed...?
