Winner of the The Music Industries Association Awards 2011, Guitar Techniques Acoustic Guitar of the Year category is the Vintage VE2000GG Gordon Giltrap signature Guitar by John Hornby Skewes & Co.Ltd.
@strabbs1 It's a stunning guitar for the money. Rob Armstrong & Gordon Giltrap have done a very successful collaboration, here. Can't wait to try the 12-string version.
its advertised at £499... ive seen it already for £399...... and i rekon i cud get it even lower...... looks very nice and i will have to try one before i buy....... i have a nice ibanez...but its japanese...and lacks a bit of character..... i want something made by fanatics...not designed by a computer perhaps..?
@pmay222 Hi, we don't normally talk about price (apart from in vague 'low, mid, high' price ranges) because such things are subject to change all the time not to mention street price is almost never the same as RRP. What we can say is this guitar offers excellent value for money.
Fantastic video for a truly great guitar. I expected this to be the best sub £500 acoustic I'd come across....it turned out to be the best under at least a grand!!! I'm lucky to have played the original 1980 Armstrong and can honestly say you could not get closer. This thing is AMAZING!!!!
Good for you, mate. This is indeed a stunning guitar for the money. I don't even play acoustc guitar that much - which hopefully isn't too apparent from the demo - but the point is that the VE2000GG is really easy to play and sounds brilliant.
