I like this game more then Supreme Commander FA because I don't have to wait 30 minutes for an experimental... But i do miss many things from FA, such as the engineering station, the strategic bomber and the Ashwassha (or whatever that Seripham exp. bomber was called) I also miss the Seripham.... they should make a DLC for them.

@MrParombo As an old school Total Annihilation player, I can tell you SC2 was totally disappointing on so many levels. I swear, they didn't even try. Why are features like being able to set your units to hold fire not available? Such an easy thing to have included, but nope. Its not there. What the hells with the 200 unit limit? Thats bullshit too. Battlenet multiplayer is a joke. So are the maps with each base having an automatic choke point (ramp)? Why?

The Void Rays are waaaaay OP amounting to boring games of massing voids which in turn requires the other player to do the same or die. This amounts to both players having to choose air builds. And you have 3 air units available?????? What a joke that is as well. Y'know what the appeal is of SC2?? Its simple. Thats all. Just simple.

SupCom, with Total Annihilation an entire year before Starcraft, then we have your ACU, all of the units are robots, more units, Cyborg Dinosaurs, A giant mech with 250 mm gaus cannons for hands, naval units, and an overall MUCH MUCH larger scale.

i have just gotten supreme commander i think it is great. i am a old school rts gamer with my first being the command and conquer series before ea messed it all up and killed a great game. it has been a while since i tried any other rts games cause i did not like any others but this one is on the top of my list with c&c my first time playing it i was impressed. i then go for a all out skirmish against 3 AI on a cheating turtle difficult and had the best three hours of my gaming career and i lost

I'm a huge fan of supreme commander. However, Attila's right, Supcom 2 was a big disappointment and nowhere near as good as Supcom: Forged Alliance. The original is a strategic masterclass, but Supcom 2 is dumbed down in every way.

@Geniuswas pretty much. the economy was defiantly better, the scale was twice or 3 times the size and the tech tree spoiled the strategy of it (it used to be that you had to tech up one factory which took time and resources, but then it built units faster and the higher tiers of units). and you used to have to fear experimentals because one could easily take out a base if you weren't careful. now they are pretty much worthless
