Lobsang Sangay what is CTA and your stand on the Dorje Shugden issue. This issue is splitting the strength of your country and people and its resources. Dividing families and friends. How do you even envision a free tibet, when there is no religious freedom accorded to your own people? If we look at karma, CTA is simply not creating the causes for a Free Tibet.

He simply mentions that it is not advised because it goes against the philosophies of Buddhism and he left it at that. I can envision a free Tibet because I believe religion and politics should not mix.

No news about this in Japan and my Chinese students are ignorant and completely brainwashed about any of this - 17 suicides and several beating and shooting deaths. I don't think anybody is actually going to help the situation, hell that's what happens when I big country gets mad at there're neighbors, and when they go for bigger game everybody gets crazy about it. I am sure if the Chinese wanted to they could get away with killing every tibeten and nobody would do anything because of fears of global conflict, I would just be glad it was only 6 dead... But it doesn't mean we shouldn't keep you in our prayers with our ultimate maker... Whatever religion.

the only two dynasties during which tibet and china are in the same map, are "Yuan" and "Qing".

during "yuan"(1271-1368), China and Tibet were parts of Mongol Empire and during "qing"(1644-1911), China and Tibet were parts of Manchurian Empire. After fall of the Manchurian empire, Manchuria was captured by japan and named Manchukuo.

saying Tibet was a part of China, is like saying India was a part of U.S.A because both were ruled by the british.
