  • Why the dislikes, Eurostar looks like they've been affected by the recession so they're using desperate measures to keep punctual.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha even the Trainspotters are commenting!! Love It!! All jokes aside it was a beautiful sight :)

  • lol

  • chuggin along

  • it isnt eurostar

  • i wish this was the new Eurostar trains

  • You should of uploaded it on April Fools Day. It would of been funnier.

  • it would be another millenium before Amtrak gets up to speed on trian technology :(

  • @howardkevinm Our problem in the US is that the countries of Europe and Asia are nearly a millenium older than we are and therefore, we are severely delayed when it comes to train technology.

  • @USofMilitaryPower94 What does that have anything to do with train technology? The train was invented 175 years ago, when the US existed, it's not a valid statement to say what you said.

  • LOL! I like the humour! I would rather ride this than the new Eurostar as the new trains they are buying are damn ugly!

  • @EWS60008 I know right? I'm a big fan of the German high speed trains, but even though Eurostar's trains are technically related to those (Velaro D, which in Germany would end up being the ICE 4), they take everything about the German designs that make them look good, and ruin it completely. Seriously, look at an ICE 3, then look at these things. You can see they're related, but not in a good way...)

  • @KuraIthys Velaro D IS the ICE 3 (BR 403).

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon No, you might want to research that. The velaro D is class (BR 407). The Velaro D is based on the ICE 3, but they are not the same thing. (D implies 4, ICE 3 would therefore be the Velaro C, With the ICE 1 being Velaro A - Of course, the design of the ICE 1 & 2 isn't much like that of the ICE 3).

  • @KuraIthys D stands for Deutschland. Like Velaro E for Espania.

  • @UraeusAnkhAmon ... Yes, you're right. I got that confused with something else.

However, Velaro D still isn't an ICE 3... there is a document on siemen's website that the technical progression:

    tinyurl com 396ok29

  • @KuraIthys ... And as usual, youtube won't let me post links, and refuses to tell me that's what's going on. There's a period and a slash in there after the 'com', if you want to look for yourself.

  • apart from the fact IT'S SUPPOSED 2 B EUROSTAR

  • prehaps jezza clarkson was on that train racing againt may in his car and hammond on his tricicle :')

  • @hyghiaumtym carnt be coz thats not class a1, looks like a battle of britain class m8

  • @NSporsche i was joking lol

  • @hyghiaumtym wrong kind of train

  • That's awesome! It is really old one actuary! Golden Allow isn't it? Anyway, You could've bring A4 class at least for the high speed train!

  • lol... anyway much more comfortable than those oldtimer trains they have at the moment

  • Made me laugh but reported for misleading title ;)

  • Funny :)

  • Nice Trolling ;)

  • euro tunnel are spending approximately 700 million euros on refurbishing the existing eurostar trains and buying 10 new trains

  • This is rubbish!!

  • Fantastic! We only knew the TGV was moving when we looked out of the window. British engineering is truly rubbish. You have to step up into a poorly designed carriage with luggage racks halfway along them, which you can't get to with your suitcases, youcan't stand up without holding on for dear life and it's so noisy. We should have just paid the French to extend their line to St. Pancras. Maybe we should just move to France.

  • thats the old steam train not the bullet train, I thoght that the Eurostar is a bullet train that goes from London to paris.

  • @sideslide23

    You're a moron.

  • the Eurostar supposed to be a high speed train not the old steam train.

  • @sideslide23

You do reallise this is a joke?

  • @sideslide23 It is, this person is just being an idiot. Although this video is a joke, Eurostar did announce today that they are purchasing a new fleet of modified ultra-efficiant Velaro trains to replace its current fleet. That trains can travel faster and haul 200 more passengers (900 total) than the current railsets. Eurostar is also expanding services to Amsterdam.

  • @gibb1991 when they replace their current fleet, they should send the old fleet to America, or better yeat sell them to Florida so Florida can used the fleet of it for their 1st phase going from Tampa bay to Orlando.

  • @sideslide23 Ooh, the recylcing of trains. I like that. Although the current fleet isn't expected to be ditched, the Velaro e350 is going to be used for the expanded services.

  • @sideslide23 They wont be doing that thel be fully refurbishing them inside and out and thel be running with the new fleet due to come into operation

  • if anyone is interested this is Un-Rebuild Battle of Britain class 34067 "Tangmere"

    Pulling "Steam Dreams'" Cathedrals special.

  • hehe excellent can you imagine being in the tunnel and coughing to death :D :D :D

  • Excellent!

  • ROFL!! :)
