I value democracy & capitalism but I honestly feel that obesity is largely due to what democracy & capitalism allow: You can say whatever you want as much as you want for any reason (such as making profits), even if it's unhealthy, even if it's across an entire nation (or globe) & multiple generations.
And health product ads are no different: They're multi-billion $ industries, their goals being to turn a profit, not work for the greater good (but definitely to SEEM that way).
