I'll never forget the day we got the Sega Genesis for christmas. Tried to hook it up to the TV, and Dad couldn't figure it out. Even at one point we had screen but no sound. Turns out he was trying to put coax plus rca jacks into a TV made in 1983...When we swapped for the RF Adapter, we had it, but forgot we maxxed the TV volume trying to get it on the last try....and what should come up at maximum noise on a TV that's 11 years old?

Did everybody rent Sonic and Knuckles? A LOT of people said they rented the game from the store and never bought the lock-on cartridge. I regret renting it, because I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT! I play a rom of the game on my Wii (through homebrew, not VC), that game is so addicting! I'd review it with a 10/10.

Sonic and Knuckles was the first expansion pack to a console, I always thought that was soooo awesome that you could play Knuckles in Sonic2. I should pick up a copy of S&K next time i'm in a store that sells old videogames.

And the way that they 'improve' old games ruins them. they add ten million extra features that make the game nowhere near the original anymore. It's like when they made pokemon fire red and leaf green.

Yeah. I think think S3&K with improved graphics and maybe enhanced/remixed music (like Project Chaos) would be great.

Kind of like how they made Street Fighter II HD remix. Keep it the same game but maybe a couple added touches; just don't go overboard.

I know. Keep the gameplay the same, have the graphics a bit polished to suit HD standards and the music be done by fans that love the game. SSF2THD remix had music done by OCRemix and a lot of people liked it considering that a game done by the fans should have music done by the fans.
