@tomterahedrob I was under the impression that the originals got far closer to 80-100 miles per US gallon, not 125.
However, I think I can hit 150 with a diesel-powered modern interpretation, that I've been planning for a while, and it should be faster than the Tiger (although not by much). 100 should be fairly easy with a gasoline-powered one (using a 2-cyl out of a motorcycle), and that would be quite a bit faster than the Tiger.

They need to make a modern day version of this vehicle! I'd buy one. It's a classic, yet so far ahead of its time.
