Watching these statistics when I was in middle was mind-blowing. I was in disbelief at what my generation was coming to and at the statistics that I myself was becoming a part of. Now, at 18, just having graduated high school, I realize these statistics don't match half of it. Things are getting worse, and so is the urgency.

God would never show himself to us completely - we would have no choice in loving Him. If he were to show himself completely to us, we would be overcome. I completely agree with you that we need to understand other peoples' circumstances and that with our single life on earth we should appreciate it and do the best we can to help others. This is why Jesus said that the greatest two commandments were "Love God" and "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." And like I said, just because something works for someone doesn't mean that it's not a sin (which means that it's not the best the world has to offer because it isn't in God's plan).
This world tells you that the truth is up to you, that you decide and you know best. To think that you know best and that you don't need to listen to or know God (by reading His word, the Bible, and being in His presence every day) is to try to play God, because the truth is that there are absolute truths that God wants us to know about so that we can experience Him and His life (which is the only life that lasts, is satisfying, and never changes). To sin is to do anything that goes against the plan that God has for our lives. As the creator of the universe, and since everything that is good came from Him; and since that infinitely good, all-powerful God knows and loves us (in spite of our sin), he knows what is best for us and he would never guide us in a way that was not the absolute best for us. That's why we obey; because our loving God loves us and wants the best for us, and we love Him for creating us and everything good, all for us.
Am I saying that you could not find things that make you happy in this world? No. But I am saying that the only thing (or person, rather) that is never going to change and never going to let you down is the Lord, and that He loves you. This world is so temporary compared to the eternal life we can have in a relationship with Him, life that we can begin to experience now and feel to its fullest extent when we leave this world, which was good but is corrupted by our sin.
I'm not saying that every person or everything in the world is the enemy; on the contrary, God created everything that is good in this world (and there is a lot of good). What I am saying is that this world tells us that we don't need a relationship with God, that sin is acceptable as long as you're not hurting anybody, and that the truth is relative. There is absolute truth, and it is that life apart from God (your creator) is not full and never can be.

Great Pillar vid. We need to rise up, both in the teen generation and college-age generation. We also need unity in the church and the church has also a lot to repent for. For instance, the divorce rate is just as high in the church as it is in the world. I am 37 years old and in college and my generation blew it, but yours still can be the one that stands up for God. Jesus used mostly analogies and symbolism throughout the New Testament when trying to spread the word of salvation. The war motif is just as symbolic today as other symbolisms would be in bilical times. Times and culture are different now then they were in biblical times. We use this symbolism today because our culture can relate to war and fighting for something you believe in.
Jesus is perfect, and as humans (Christians included)we are not perfect nor do we claim to be. We strive to get people saved and try to live a life like Christ.

C.S. Lewis uses incredible logic and metaphor to explain why there is absolute truth, and from there he builds to explain why we believe what we do about God, the Bible, the Trinity, justification by grace through faith, etc. (all with logic, not emotional appeals). And we will never be able to prove the existence of God because He goes beyond science (which He created, by the way). God would never show himself to us completely - we would have no choice in loving Him. If he were to show himself completely to us, we would be overcome. He created us with free will because true love cannot exist outside of free will; that's all He wants, us to love Him a fraction of the way He loves us. Read Mere Christianity by C.S. I completely agree with you that we need to understand other peoples' circumstances and that with our single life on earth we should appreciate it and do the best we can to help others. This is why Jesus said that the greatest two commandments were "Love God" and "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." And like I said, just because something works for someone doesn't mean that it's not a sin (which means that it's not the best the world has to offer because it isn't in God's plan).

What I am saying is that this world tells us that we don't need a relationship with God, that sin is acceptable as long as you're not hurting anybody, and that the truth is relative. There is little factual proof of Jesus' existence. Many of the stories in the bible, for instance the one where King Herod kills a bunch of children in order to kill Jesus, are said to be VERY unlikely.

I agree with wraith after jesus died the christians fucked up the faith making a belief structure when the whole purpose of the damn thing was doing good not worshiping a god. they just wanted to fill their empty hearts with something that doesnt exsisted because like every other human we are weak.

I believe the point the video is trying to make is that we're fighting violence, hatred, and addiction with love and forgiveness. That's what Jesus is about. In order to go against all that stuff, we have to be strong and rooted in Jesus.

I know its life, but this is about youth doing something about this sad world, while serving God. If you do smoke or do pot or even cut your self, I'm not saying your a bad person. If you have sex with your g/f that your not married to then i wont call you a bad person, but i hope those who do find a place where they dont feel like cutting, or doing drugs. I find what the battle cry is doing to be a good thing. its reached out and touched many youth. God bless.

You dont think its sad how some people think they need to cut their wrist to feel alive or that so many people are going out and getting drunk, smoking pot, and sniffing up crack? Drinking beer i believe is alright as long as you dont abuse it and try to get drunk off of it. Also why do people try to get drunk? To forget pain, to "have a good time" that they sometimes cant even remember. You dont have to do drugs to have a good time. I believe the world is a very sad place.

Great Pillar vid. We need to rise up, both in the teen generation and college-age generation. We also need unity in the church and the church has also a lot to repent for. For instance, the divorce rate is just as high in the church as it is in the world. I am 37 years old and in college and my generation blew it, but yours still can be the one that stands up for God. Looking at this from a critic point of view, this is the best videos ive ever seen that is aimed to be persuasive. I may be athiest and not beilieve in 'brain-washing' people but this video will make alot of people christians. My prayer is with you. Ron Luce is a good man.. He is being used by God to spread the word.. this generation is under-attack by (pornography,drugs,alcohol) which is very easy to get nowadays. I love the Lord and I support Mr.Luce's doings, Jesus is using Mr.Luce as instrument! I just can't imagine what kids would be without God using Ron.. Imagine, 10 years from now without BattleCry.. The path of Christ leads to happiness. All this crap the world throws at us today(porn,sex,drugs,w/e) may seem enticing and satisfying to our carnal minds at first, but it is temporal and false happiness that won't last. I've been there and done that and all I felt was guilt and shame. I now know the path I walk is straight and narrow. Whether you choose to follow Christ or whatever God(s) you believe in is totally up to you, but keep in mind that nobody stands a chance in this world alone

Kids were encouraged to live in Christ! Alot of people are freakin out over the whole "war" aspect of it..but in all reality it is about "fighting" for our generation! The media is shoving sex, drugs, and violence down kids throats! When you grow up seeing this stuff everyday it does have an influence on our actions! So to say it is a war is accurate. We are fighting back against the media!

I'm sure that, had he been alive now, Jesus would've approved of depicting Christianity as a war, using terms such as "Are you ready for a fight?" And of course, showinng his beloved children marching in unison.
Also, I'm sure he would've approved of the blatant intolerance showed toward homosexuality in San Francisco.

Jesus used mostly analogies and symbolism throughout the New Testament when trying to spread the word of salvation. The war motif is just as symbolic today as other symbolisms would be in bilical times. Times and culture are different now then they were in biblical times. We use this symbolism today because our culture can relate to war and fighting for something you believe in.

Jesus is perfect, and as humans (Christians included)we are not perfect nor do we claim to be. We strive to get people saved and try to live a life like Christ.
Gandhi by the way was talking about a select group of people in India(generalization). You can't base an opinion about a certain religion or anyhting else for that matter by only looking at a certain group of people and not the entire group(discrimination).

better to not preach to children but rather once there of an older age educate them of the top 15 world religions as well as atheism and then let them choose. 2 many fights in families as well as countries throughout history have founght because of christianity. even look back at ww2 with the jews, or napoleons holy crusade, or the nights templar. i am a protestant and choose to remain so because there are not as many man made laws.

Quick question. What is wrong with having a genuine peace living inside of you. What's wrong with knowing the God that created each and every one of of.
