-In light of the fact that there are clear principals of exegesis which emphasize the role of theme& context, it's shocking you insist on this. It's clear from the words of the Lord Jesus HImself that the creation order was & is the uniting of man & female- that it is sinful & ungodly to agitate otherwise. This theme is established in the genesis account of the male/female relationship and later re- inforced by Jesus who also condemns divorce. Nowhere are men EVER called 'Echad'
And which things of the bible he doesn't take seriously?? NO Christian, fundamentalist or liberal takes the whole bible seriously. BOTH are dishonest, irrational and full of double standards.
I think it's good that this conversation is taking place, so I want to be sensitive. But, I have to say, this guy's body language communicates severe repression.
Technically, I don't think that Catholics use the term 'ex-gay' is much as Christian groups. The emphasis in Catholic Church is on chastity not... 'changing orientation'.

I believe you are on the right path. I agree with you, though I am not centered as you are yet. Thanks for posting.

Very wise and mature way of life. I wish the exgay movement was more like this and a little less-well--self-hating.
