Man! What an excellent take on this classic song by Peter Sarstedt. I laughed out loud when I saw those photos of the horses ha,ha,ha. Thanks for sharing this video 'nevino123', I enjoyed it heaps!!!
Thank you for posting a proper video of this song. The only other one that I'd found before that had the full song and proper audio is no longer on here for some reason.
Love is bittersweet exactly like this song...I love love.Make no war. Hope one day women would have the power in the world to make things better with their tenderness.

I had a romantic bone once, but then I found the fucker and had it ripped out through my arsehole by one biotch, and since that day back in 98, I took up listening to DOPE and Die motherfucker Die
I couldn't have said it better myself. The first time I heard this song I was in Paris many ,many years ago and it has stuck in my mind ever since. Some day I may go back to Paris and what I left there. This song will always be there.
Jen, Thanks so much for sharing & sending....I really like this Song....
It always comes down to "You can have all the "Material Things" in the World but if you don't have someone to love and someone to love you back "You really Don't Have Anything At All".....Loneliness is a "Solitary" place every minute of the day and night without love and/or Friends....Bob
Thank you so much for this posting. Peter Sarstedt was a wonderful singer. This song brings back some very wonderful memories. Thank you and Happy New Year.
When this came out I was a 17 year old apprentice Electrician, I was "Boy" to a middle aged electrician and I drove him nuts signing the first couple of lines of this song over and over again !
I first heard this song when watching the Wes Anderson short film " Hotel Chevalier"
I was charmed by it immediately. But wasn't sure if it was a real song or had been created just for the film. Obviously I was quite ignorant.... It was a smash hit in the 60's.
A truly charming song......and the images in this video are charming as well !

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found the original recording tune, not a crappy version off TV back in the 60's. One hell of a tune! Awesome!

Brilliant...Words that stir the soul..create introspection..and overall are pure poetry
Dance or dream..Only Bob Dylan can match this

nicest part..
....So look into my face Marie-Claire
And remember just who you are
Then go and forget me forever
`Cause I know you still bear
the scar, deep inside, yes you do
I know where you go to my lovely
When you're alone in your bed
I know the thoughts that surround you
`Cause I can look inside your head.
