I'm a part of the school and music department and we work really hard to put on these shows. We record the concerts and then we see things like this that people record on their own. Its rude.
@stardustangel24 Whats rude about it? Promote and sell/release your video and I'll gladly buy it. I've yet to hear about one. A quick search of youtube reveals no hits from an official school youtube account with videos. I was just trying to get the word out that Temple has got a ton of great cats in the TJO. And guess what? People have messaged me about TJO, or asking about temple college's music program, etc. I've even met some at concerts and I'm not even at your school or in the mus dept!
@stardustangel24 Bottom line is. This video is not of the best quality. Audio is decent, but I, as you do, wish there was something better out there. A teaser even of something better. I don't understand how it's rude to get the word out on TJO and have people come to concerts. I know guys in the group that agree because I've talked to them. Take a chapter from UNT's book and use youtube don't fight it.
Hilton? I recorded this at Temple College on a Sony Cybershot DSCW-30 in video mode. Are you really Lee Thomason's daughter cause your profile says you are 20... i don't mean any disrespect but i think you are confused, about the performance. This took place on 01-07-07.
I am his 10 year old daughter. I know all the songs this band plays like the back of my hand because, every Tuesday night last year, I would go to my violen lesson and then sit on the stage and do my homework.
I appreciate all the folks checking out the video. The head to "Ludis" was derived from some subjects from Paul Hindemith's "Ludis Tonalis". We performed this at the IAJE Convention in NYC on Jan. 12. Again, thanks.
