If you use an emulator for this game, you can also emulate the transfer pak and use Pokemon from your Pokemon red or blue roms, there is a trade center on Pokemon Stadium so you can also trade your gameboy pokemon to evolve them and stuff.

Also, if you have an Xbox 360 or PS3 controller, you can set it as the controllers for Stadium, so you dont have to use a keyboard.

You guys are set with everything you need to start trading and battling your friends WITHOUT rentals.

To anyone unsure, an emulator is an N64 you can use on your computer

a rom is a game you can play on your computer (pokemon stadium rom, pokemon red rom.)

It's so funny how well I used to know Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow. Now I can't remember where anything is. I can't remember what Pokemon need stones, when they level up...I used to know it all by heart as a 12 year old. Now I'm 24 and it's like reliving it again. Every time I catch a new Pokemon now I immediately want to transfer it to the n64 and use it! I don't think I'd want to get Stadium 2 though, even though I love n64 collecting. I never liked Pokemon past Yellow, and the GBC Pinball Game.

What in the hell has happened to me? I got my copy of this in the mail, complete with box, instructions, and transfer pak all in wonderful condition. Since, it is suddenly like I am 12 years old and it is 1999 all over again. Holy hell. I'm suddenly addicted to my Pokemon Yellow cart for the last time in over a decade.
