Keith Olbermann is right on the money, "We have lived as if in a trance. We have lived as people in fear. And now—our rights and our freedoms in peril—we slowly awaken to learn that we have been afraid of the wrong thing. Therefore, tonight have we truly become the inheritors of our American legacy. A government more dangerous to our liberty, than is the enemy it claims to protect us from."
LOL - Like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson opposed slavery and thought it was immoral even though he owned them!!! Do history check! ummm Ben Franklin Alexander Hamilton John Adams James Madison James Monroe also thought it was immoral -- that is why Liberia was created!!!! Btw - Jefferson would be disgusted with Neocons more than Socialists (He was a Deist not a Christian FYI)
(Don't know why that posted up above) Wow, you are an idiot. Ron Paul wants every American to live with true personal freedom. You probably think he's a fascist, too.
Didn't T.J. found a large university in Virginia that was free (socialism) to anyone who met academic standards. thats very different from libertarian view of education. Ron P. isn't the only candidate that would reinstate the constitution, just the only republican that would.
No, the only candidate who would adhere to the constitution. That document is a blue print for government not just a restraint on the police. The Democrats don't recognize any constitutional restraints. They think the Federal gov. can control everything.
news flash- Thomas Jefferson founded the democratic party. All the people i see destroying our constitutional rights are repubs. no one thinks the fed gov can control everything. that would be facsism. this neo-republicanism is just a way to weezle out of the mess you've made of this country. you're probably just getting played again like you got with our current "christian" president.
socialism isn't about free goods, it's about force and coercion. As a result, public universities, far from being free are merely payed by force against taxpayers.
Socialism isn't about free goods, it's merely about being forced to pay for those goods through coercion. Mother Theresa offered private charity, but she was nothing like some welfare bureucrat. A genuinely free university is just private property still and is still capitalistic therefore, the same a private charity like The Salvation Army or United Way are capitalistic in a sense.
Jefferson was known to have a lisp and because of it did not like speaking in public. He prefered to sit down and think things out which is what made him such a great writer.

Wow, I always knew that Thomas Jefferson was a queer, looks like one and sounds like one, must be a queer!

Judging by how many slaves he knocked up, I doubt he was gay. Alexander Hamilton on the other hand...
